The name hasn't been released and from the hints it would be a guy on offense. But the hints of "Hugh" the last time didn't turn out to be correct. So not taking those as the truth yet. Although it is a lot more viable that this person committed then Thornton.
Also the post by 300 Warrior was premium info on SpartanMag and nothing really about commits or guys committing soon but was just copy and pasted.

Everything I've seen indicates it may be Bennie Fowler. From the bit of tape I've seen, he looks quick at wideout. Good hands, nice agility and quickness. Looks to be a guy that can gain yardage after the catch with his shiftiness. The only thing that puzzles me is that with our limited amount of scholarships, are we cooling on Cam Gordon? Maybe we are looking for him to come as a LB?

Really the only guy that had an offer that was there yesterday per SpartanMag was France. He really doesn't have a position and is a very versatile athlete.
I know a lot of 2010 guys were there though.

Its not the fact that Thornton wasn't there but the fact that the staff likes France at OT a lot.
We are taking 2 OT so presuming France commits, we take the first one of Koehne and Thornton.
Koehne being the most likely.

Just out of curiousity, why would we be done at guard? Never have enough quality OL maulers. From what I remember, we had one Guard last class (E. Ruthland) and one this class (Reynolds.) I know we took a few OL last class but I remember them being OT type players.

Can anyone speak more about the 2010 guys at the camp? Gardner sounds great, but doesn't he go to school with Cam Gordon? Will Gordon's decision to go to scUM affect us here, if it happens?
Any other standout or up-and-coming 2010 guys worth noting? thanks
