Cleveland (OH) Glenville Academic Campus' Latwan Anderson has had a busy summer and it's not over yet. After making close to ten college visits, the Rivals 100 member is attending an invite-only event in Florida this coming weekend.

'Grounded' LA likes WVU

Beyond the football and social life afforded at a school like West Virginia, what athlete Latwan (Luh-twon) Anderson covets most about the Big East power is its care with prospects on the academic front.

Saying you like WVU for their academics is like saying you like scUM for their hot women.

"athlete Latwan (Luh-twon) Anderson covets most about the Big East power is its care with prospects on the academic front. "
read that quote again guys. It didn't say he likes west virginia for their acedemics, rather he likes WVU for the CARE it gives to prospects on the academic front. Translation: when you are failing, it's easy to dig yourself out of a hole.

I wouldn't give his updates too much attention until later in the year. It seems clear that aside from WVU the kid is all over the map and puts whatever school he visits #2.

Also, why hasn't this guy gotten an OSU offer? #35 prospect in the country attending a school that is the Ohio equivalent (or maybe even moreso) of Cass Tech to UofM.
Something seems strange....

per my lunatic Buckeye fan buddy:

This of course is hearsay.

I will say this, there was a 4 star last year at the school I teach at with tons of offers from around the country. He got into some fairly serious legal trouble, which resulted in many schools just dropping their offer at that point. Two schools stayed on him the most, Illinois and West Virginia. He got into legal trouble again with a completely different incident before the other one was even resolved. Illinois was no longer interested....West Virginia was. He took a trip there and his exact quote after his official was, "West Virginia is straight thugged out"...this coming from a guy who had at least one felony pending...he then got into more trouble, WVU simply told him to not sign yet but he still had an offer...in their words it was, as long as you aren't serving jail time come football season, we can work around it...
TIFWIW, but it worries me to a degree that some of these rumors are true if West Virginia is really sticking out to this guy.

Bucknuts is saying the same thing. Nobody seems to know the exact story but it sure doesn't make LA sound good.

Exactly. Don't question someones character if you don't know the facts. In Anderson's defense it is rumored that the teacher put their hands on him and then he reacted. Again, it's rumored that he will have his grades in order, if he doesn't already. He would be a great pickup for MSU.
