2008 Season stats: only played in five games, in which he caught eleven passes (372 yards), EIGHT of which he took to the house.
Tyrone Williams Shaw High School Football Stats 08-09 - MaxPreps
At this point, I'm not totally sure how involved we are here except that we're listed on his Rivals and ESPN profiles and I saw the measurables and film and decided a thread was necessary.

I've got this guy in the Buckeye camp. I'll take Prater as a consolation prize

this guy looks like a beast. I wonder if Tony Jones commits on fri how many more wr Coach D would take in this class. I would guess that would be it? they only have one senior wr listed on the roster (Blair White) so why would they take more than one? IMO they could take one more to balance out the classes down the road as long as it is a real great wr with a lot of potential like Williams. This guy is big enough he could also be converted into a TE as well. The only two WR i would take after Jones commits are Williams or Lewis

Is this a serious question? If there are more talented WR's out there that in a few years will become great players why wouldn't they take them? Dyjuan Lewis and Shakim Philips are those type of players that have the potential to be stars, MSU should/will take them.
Williams is all OSU, unless they take another WR before him or if they decide they are done at WR for this class. If he doesn't choose OSU, then MSU could offer if they miss on the other WR prospects that have offers. Most coaches, including our staff, will want to see how he plays after his injury. If he plays well early in the season he could get an offer. Good point on him becoming a TE. He could become a great weapon there or at WR if he keeps his speed.

If he recovers from the ACL tear, he would be heavily recruited this season once he performs and shows he still has the speed and agility.
I'm not sure tOSU has room for him right now with only 6 offers left. We need to keep tabs on him.

I agree about keeping a tab on him. Williams seems like he could be a player that blows up during his senior season. I think that he has fully recovered from his injury because the track times listed he said were from this year. If he still has the quickness and speed that he had prior to his injury, then I hope MSU offers. I still would want Dyjuan Lewis in this class, but if MSU had room for Williams, or if another scholarship opened up I would like to get him also. He could probably play TE, but he would be a great weapon as a WR.
