Not at all likely.
I think that it is a victory to have him on campus. Maybe 5% just because of the slight connection he has with the program, but the big fella will end up somewhere else I'm afraid...

0%. The real excitement is just that he's even considering us. If we can get kids like this to visit us in the future, we have a shot at landing one of them as our reputation grows.

I don't know too many kids that would pile into a van with their buddies and drive from Minneapolis to East Lansing to check it out if MSU didn't have a chance.

I think he was taking a trip to numerous schools, not just MSU, I think he went to Wisconsin, UofM and maybe OSU along the way.
Either way thanks for the response...

Glad to know you are so well connected in the know. Nothing is either 0% or a for sure thing as we all have seen with kids in the past.

I don't recall him asking me what I know. Let's see:

Ah, there, we go, he asked for our opinions.

Elite ESPNU 150 Watch List offensive tackle Seantrel Henderson is holding over 50 scholarship offers. According to affiliate Web site OUInsider.com, he has started trimming his list.
He said, "Right now it is not official, but I like Minnesota, USC, UCLA, Michigan, Iowa, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Florida State, Florida and LSU. There are some other schools, but that would be my top choices right now."
Henderson also shared what he's looking for, "I want to know the teams' depth chart and who they have coming in. I want to know if they are going to have a nice quarterback and who else they have on the offensive line. Then just being comfortable around the team and on campus, and finding a school where I can be at for the next four years, or maybe even five. I can play in any offense, and distance from home doesn't really matter."
Notre Dame, Michigan State, South Carolina, Oregon, Boston College and North Carolina are a few of the other programs that have extended offers.
Additionally, Henderson calls basketball his favorite sport and has been offered on the hardwood by Marquette and St. Louis.

Elite offensive tackle Seantrel Henderson's father, Sean Henderson, spoke with ESPN affiliate Web site Bucknuts.com about the current status of his son's recruitment.
"I can give you about six to eight of the schools he is considering. You have to keep the Gophers in there in case he decides to stay home, but I'm not real sure where that stands. There is Minnesota, Florida, Florida State, Oklahoma, Michigan, USC, I know Notre Dame's been on his list and Ohio State."
He continued, "I know his five official visits. He will definitely visit Ohio State, Oklahoma, USC and Florida. Florida State is one that could change. He might decide to visit somewhere else besides Florida State. He could visit both the Florida schools or he might just take one to Florida."
Mr. Henderson concluded, "I'm not going to rush him. I wouldn't be surprised if he waits until the last minute. He wants to win a state championship in football, then he has basketball."

I know a lot of UM'ers think this kid is going their way, but in this latest update, while UM is still mentioned, it doesn't sound like they are in his top 5 (nor does it sound like we have any shot left with him). Not taking an official to AA (or, unfortunately, E.L.), according to his dad.

He made it known that he would be using officials to schools the farthest away. As he has been to most of the close schools several times.

makes sense............I still don't think he ends up in AA though.
I see him going to USC or Minny

The square is seldom if ever cool ... He is "not with it", that is, he doesn't know "whats happening." But if he manages to figure it out, he moves up a notch to "hip." And if he can bring himself to approve of what's happening, he becomes "groovy." And after that, with much luck and perseverence, he can rise to the rank of "cool."

I agree I don't think he goes to UM either, but it was schools farthest away or hadn't been to yet.
MN to OSU isn't exact close.
