Here's a thread I never thought would be necessary. Saw on SportsInferno that he was in EL, then Scout had it too, although I'd imagine it probably originated on the Mag.
For those of you not familiar, he's 6'8", a lean ~300lbs, and runs a sub 5 forty. #1 overall on Rivals.

Yeah Shrouter on SpartanMag was the first to break the story.
Was up for the day at MSU.

That's a fair amount of beef.
I prefer to picture him and Barrent as bookends on a dominant offensive line.

Well in that case, the timing was horrible. Minnesota native visits EL while is in Minnesota!

I'd cut off my right and 1/4 of my left testicle for this guy to play both ways at U-M.

Per my UMer co-worker, according to one of the guys on the UM Scout site, Sherm Lewis has a connection here in some form. Not sure how much it will help us, but who knows.

Sherm Lewis played football and ran track for Michigan State from 1961-64 and is one of seven former Spartans who will be inducted into the MSU Athletics Hall of Fame on September 7, 2001.

sounds like a Jelani Jenkins midwest trip.
Good to see he actually stop in EL, instead of driving past it like it was 4 years ago

He really likes Minnesota, USC and Notre Dame a lot. But doesn't have any clear cut favorites.
Only reason people are saying he is an ND lean is that ND has gotten a ton of players from that school over the past few years.

Agreed. Domers are actually quite nervous that the Cretin Hall connection isn't strong enough to snag Henderson, and quite a few are speculating that he wants to play in a spread offense (i.e. Florida or UofM) because of his superior footwork, speed and pass blocking skills.

OL playing in a spread offense = end of football career. Spread lineman don't make it to or in the NFL. Just ask DickRod.

Ryan Clady last year at #12 overall and Jason Smith this year, possibly #1 overall seem to dispute that statement.

He's 6 foot 8, 300 pounds as a Junior in High School.
I think he can learn how to run block.

unless he said he was a lock to MSU then it doesnt matter what his opinions are. the facts are that currently there are 0 offensive lineman from West Virginia in the NFL. that means slappy has put more offensive lineman in the NFL than DickRod. here is the link to the stats.

Yeah, that's basically what he said. I was just explaining what DoubleD's comment was referencing.
