Fantasy question:
Would you trade Culpepper for Ahman Green? How about Culpepper and Moss for Green and Steven Jackson? TIA.

NO, Culpepper and Moss are studs. Green is a late first round selection, and Jackson is middle round selection. Unless you're really hurting for RBs, I would never consider trading Moss or Culpepper. If I did trade one of them, I would want players of higher caliber than Green and Jackson.

I'm going to go w/ no for #2. For #1, you better have a great backup and be desperate at RB. What does the rest of your team look like?

I should mention that we haven't had our draft yet. We get two "keepers". Most of the top 10-15 RB's will be kept by other teams. If I kept both Moss and Culpepper, my RB's would only be ranked around top 15-20.

Who would your backs be? IMHO, Green isn't a top 10 back, and Jackson isn't a top 15. If you're going to pull the trigger on either Moss or Caulpepper, try to get a better back.

Knock it off Jahimiak....Jackson is proving to be way better than a mid round selection. He very well may be this years player to "blow-up." But to trade Moss too, no way. You need much more in return. You have argubably the top players at their position in Culpepper and Moss. Stay put........

Couldn't agree any more with this. Jackson is going to end up a top 10 RB this year. But no way do you trade Moss and Culpepper to get him and Green.

They are still going to give Faulk a number of carries, plus he is their passing down back. Even if Faulk isn't performing, they will still give him the ball for awhile just because he is Marshall Faulk and he has done so much for the team. I never like to have guys that split carries as a starter on my team. Also RBs are much deeper this year.

I would take Steven Jackson ahead of Ahman Green. Trading Culppeper for Green would be one of the dumbest trades in fantasy football history. I wish some of you guys were in my fantasy league.

On average, Culpepper is currently getting drafted about 8th, and Green is getting drafted about 20th. Everything else being equal, this is not a good trade. Adding Moss (13th) for Jackson (30th) only makes things worse.
That being said, I'd hate to have a fantasy team that doesn't include any of the top 15 backs or so. I think any thorough analysis of this trade needs to include the players which you can pick up in the draft for replacements. If you trade away Culpepper, could you draft McNabb to replace him? That's not a huge step down. If you pass on Green, hopefully you can still get someone like Curtis Martin or Lamont Jordan, which also would not be a huge step down.
I agree with the other posters that Green is a pretty lame offer for Culpepper. I'd at least look to get someone like Dillon or Davis.

These are not the questions I have in regards to my fantasies.

Hey Shack...**** off and get back to work. Green has been a top 10 RB for years and does not split carries.

1. Culpepper for A. Green = NO (unless have a solid back up qb and are hurting for rb's).
2. Culpepper and Moss for A. Green and S. Jackson = NO (unless have a solid 2nd qb and a solid second wr and you are hurting for rb's).

I'd be proud to be known as the "closet ****ter"...it's a great story. You might want to check your bottom drawer on your desk...I left you a present, extra nutty.
