With the first pick in the 2006 fantasy football draft..
Who would you take? LT, Shaun Alexander or Larry Johnson? I really think at this point those would be the only three considered.

lj. without question. alexander 1) has no hutchinson and 2) has the madden curse. LT wouldn't be a bad bet etiher. But i read some interview of LJ where he basically said he was going to come out strong and still had something to prove. He has a chip.

Can't believe I am saying this, but LARRY JOHNSON-no doubt. Alexander will not be able score that many TD's this year, but should be 2nd, and LT is the bigger ? due to the QB sit. Look for 8 in the box on 1st and 2nd down.

Larry Johnson without a doubt. LT has no Brees and basically a rookie behind center and Alexander has no Hutch.

Nope. Herm has made clear that even if Priest can come back, he will not be playing for the Chiefs. It's LJ's job.

PREDICTION: Rich Rodriguez will be fired or leave his job in disgrace. 'His players' won't save him from his own incompetant coaching. I really hope they give him three full seasons. 10/31/8

I picked up LJ right before Priest's injury in a keeper league. We can only keep one player and I also traded for Tiki Barber that year. Needless to say I won the league on the back of those two horses. The Saturday game in November when they played head to head was classic. Both had 200+ yards and 2-3 TDs.

LT. Seattle's lost some on the offensive line, and there's no way LJ keeps up those kind of numbers for 16 games. Also, with San Diego having a new QB in Rivers, you know that LT's going to get more than his fair share of the touches.

I'm in a league with 8 teams, 4 keepers per team. In last year's draft, I had decided right after my 4th round pick (which was the 1st pick in that round) that I was going to take Larry Johnson with the first pick in the fifth round. The guy with the last pick in the fourth round took him the pick before me. Same thing happened to me with Randy Moss his rookie year. It's just not fair to the rest of the league because the guy's keepers line up like this:
QB: Peyton Manning
RB: LT
RB: LJ
WR: Chad Johnson

There is a rules change this year where you don't have to play 2 RBs, now it is 1 RB and 1 Flex.

But 4 keepers with 8 teams (32 players protected) and 2 keepers with 16 teams (32 players protected) are essentially the same, save the 2 seasons rule. Considering both of our leagues have the same number of protected players, give me you opinion on something: should I take Reggie Bush with the first overall pick in my league? I think I should (considering four keepers per year and unlimited years of protection) but my co-owner disagrees. He thinks Bush will be one of the biggest busts in years.

Your co-owner is an idiot. I can't say for sure about taking Bush #1 cuz I don't know who all will be available, but he will not be a bust (unless he gets injured).

Bush may not be a bust, but it would be crazy to pick a back that has to beat out Duece just to get some carries. He is good but a huge gamble.

Actually, it's 3 WRs + a kicker and a team defense, which are worth more in my league than I've seen in any other league. The Bears defense was actually my best "player" last year.

Actually, the experts at CBSSportsline.com have had three mock drafts already, and Bush was the #17 pick in all three, and those were all SEASONAL drafts.
