Question Bush league waiver wire move?

Would it be wrong for me to pick up the only decent TE remaining on waivers - only because my opponent's lone TE has a bye this week? I would have three TEs on the roster, one being Gates.

Bush leaugue or the smart thing to do?

My Spartan is
#4 Carl Grimes
One time I picked up 2 QB's which gave me 4 total so my opponent was forced to start Cody Pickett. I think it's a legit move, he should have planned ahead.

It's just good management. Pick up the guy and hold him for one week assuming you don't have to drop anyone good in order to do it.
