Chris Chambers or Bernard Berrian?
You read that right - I'm considering benching Chambers. I don't know what's going on down in Miami...Chambers is getting a lot of looks, but not a lot of receptions. Both of his TDs have been somewhat cheap (if that even makes sense). On the other hand, I know Bernard Berrian is the real deal. He is a deep ball threat on every play and Grossman loves him.
The numbers alone tell the story:
Chambers (16 rec, 181 yds, 2 TDs)
Berrian (15 rec, 316 yds, 3 TDs)
Screw you Daunte for putting me in this situation.
You can see where I'm leaning, but I need an outside opinion. Do I really bench a "stud" for an undrafted waiver pickup?

Sometimes you gotta have faith in the 'studs' and stick with 'em. Last week I did that with Lamont Jordan and it paid off. I have Berrian and Chambers also, and I'll probably stick with CC over BB just because of his potential. BB has been hot but can he really keep it up? He's had a few 'cheap/long' TDs as well that could've resulted in far fewer points. In the end, it's a nice choice to have right now. Either one with probably be fine this week.

I'd go Chambers.

Ha, well, I just traded away Chambers for Coles. Kinda second-guessing myself, but I just can't wait any longer for Daunte to come around.

An injured Coles is still a better play than a healthy Chambers. At worst, Coles sits out this week and I play Berrian - maybe even Reggie Williams.
It is true Coles' numbers are down since injuring his calf. He only had 179 yards in his last two games while posting 253 in the first two games.

"Do I look okay," Coles asked the Newark Star-Ledger Wednesday after practice. "You see me getting dressed, don't you? I'll be out there [on Sunday]."

Their halftime numbers should be no surprise:
Chambers - 3 rec, 23 yds
Berrian - 3 rec, 78 yds, 1 TD
The Bears are up 27-0 at half, so Berrian's numbers aren't going to change much. Miami, on the other hand, can't run the ball worth a damn, so Chambers will probably end with decent enough numbers.
