Fantasy Advice: Who do I pick???
I know there are many of you out there who find fantasy football nerdy and gay. That's fine, I'm asking those who are into it. I have the first pick in our upcoming 12-man draft. Who do I take? I'm leaning towards the Priest as he's looking healthy.

I gave a decent breakdown of the top 6 backs a ways back..... look for it if ya want....
My top 4 would be
1.) Ricky Williams
2.) Priest (If healthy but still a gamble)
3.) L.T.
4.) Clinton Portis ( I really like this kid, Speed, just put on 18 lbs. in off-season, good fundamental blocking in Denver, and I think Jake the snake will be O.K. with some weapons)
Now don't take this in any way as my endorsement of Jake the Snake, he F'ing sucks, but at least he won't get drunk and fall down all the time (griese)

I'll check it out. I'd rather have a little bit lower pick and let someone else determine who I take here.

I had Faulk two years ago and dominated my league. I just saw on Sportscenter that Ricky is down to the weight he was when he won the Heisman. They say he had an intense off season. He's very tempting based on that and last years performance. Good luck.

Seeing how this Goddamn poll is turning out, I see I've got a hell of a decision to make. There's no clear-cut choice like in years past. Luckily I have time for people to blow out knees and get arested for screwing a horse to help sort things out. I had my heart set on LT, but that was before I found out where I was picking. For some reason, I'm sitting like this right now:
1. Priest
2. LT
3. Ricky
I'm sure it'll change before the draft in a few weeks.

There is no way I would touch Priest Holmes right now. In fact I would let someone else in the league take a chance on him. If I had to decide, it would definetely be between LT and Williams. They are both studs and you can't go wrong. Between the two I would take LT, because with the addition of David Boston as their number 1 receiver, Drew Bledsoe has someone to look for down field which will free some room for LT to run.
Just curious but no love for Mike Vick? Now that is a stud, and a number one pick. He can get you 100 yrds a game running and 250 with his arm.

Trade down. Any of the top 4 or 5 could go #1. Throw McNabb in there too.

David Boston is great when he's playing and not doing coke. I see Conway out/ Boston IN as a negative for LT and Marty ball. It's not like Brees is Favre.
Mike Vick #1 overall? You gotta be crazy.

Seems like a positive to me, passing game sucks, run the ball more.
