Football Fantasy football draft today....
Hey all, i'm running a league on yahoo with the draft running at 6:15 pm today (saturday). I've had several people backout of the league unable to make the draft online today.

If you are interested in joining a league and are serious about fantasy football i could use some teams. I currently have 7 managers signed up and would like to get to 10 teams, though i can accept up to 12. This is a free league, no betting, just for the fun of the game.

Roster lineup is 1-QB, 2-RB, 2-WR, 1-WR/RB, 1-TE, 1-K, 1-DEF and 7 bench players. here's a link giving the point setup:

No offense, but if you were serious about fantasy football, you wouldn't hold your draft 2 weeks before the season starts.

Granted...but I'm on vacation next weekend and wasn't certain of internet access, and we had agreed to run the draft this weekend. Is it really that bad...I know drafts that happened during the 1st preseason weekend.

Mine is next weekend. Just about the best time to do it so you can get a feel for depth charts and stuff. Plus pre-season injuries can suck.

We used to do ours labor day weekend, but last year we did it the night of the Thursday night opener.
