It depends on how much time you want to dedicate to it. If you are just in it for some fun, make sure your lineup is filled with players that play everyday. (You only get points when they play.) If you have guys that share positions, you won't get much from them. It is early in the season, so it is tough to tell whether you should be looking to make any changes by dropping or adding players.
Watch out for injuries or any other reason your guys might not be in the lineup. If you keep your eyes on the schedules, you can change your lineup to work around days that teams have off. (This takes some time, and you can get burned if you forget to change back after the off day.)
You can edit the lineup each day if you want. Watch the stats of your players, and the ones on the bench (BN). You only get points for the active players, so if your bench players are doing better, change them for somebody else that is not performing as well.
Baseball has millions of stats that you can compare if you have the time or inclination. Usually the Yahoo rankings are a pretty good starting point, but making your own calls is what makes it fun. Keep an eye out for news updates about your players, they usually indicate that something about thier status has changed. (Injury, trade, sent to minors, etc.)
You don't need to change the lineup all the time. The season is long, and you will get a hang of it as you go along.

there should be a better 3B available...is Joe Crede on the free agent list? He has been rollin, and was rated real low because he is coming back from back surgery
what SP are on the free agent wire? I would get another Starting pitcher and cut Nady

Nady has been on fire. I would cut Gary Matthews before him, or just drop Blake.
GGG Jr., your team kind of sucks. Sorry to break it to you, but you have no chance with your team. Make sure to start your starting pitchers when they are scheduled. You have your best one on the bench. I'm sure there are better options on the ww for pitching besides Nate Robertson.

Actually her team is pretty decent. She's got good infielders even with Blake, who isn't that bad. Her outfield is very strong with Grady and Manny. She has 3 very good pitchers in Peavy, Young & Cain. Then throw in a top 5 closer in Nathan with a very good Corpas. The only thing that would really hurt her is if there were only 8 teams in the league

Pretty decent for a sucky team. That team is incredibly mediocre. Nathan's a great closer, but that doesn't help much when you only have 2 on the team. It also doesn't help that the other closer plays in Colorado. If Cy Young came back to life to pitch in Colorado, I wouldn't take him. There's only one #1 SP on the whole team, who is the only reason the team isn not a complete bust.

yeah, who would want Manny Corpas' 2.07 ERA. What a bum.
News flash: pitching in Coors is actually possible since they used a humidor.
furthermore, are you familiar with the work of Chris Young? or Matt Cain? Guthrie and Blanton aren't bad either. Ditch Robertson for someone decent off the WW and it's not a bad rotation.
It's probably an 8 team league if she has Peavy, Nathan, Reyes, Hafner, and Sizemore, but even then it's not horrible.
