Yeah in one of my deep leagues, this guy keeps trying to pawn off Andruw Jones on me. The deals always look something like Andruw and Chipper Jones for Josh Hamilton, Matt Kemp, and Matt Capps. I countered with Andruw Jones for Jacque Jones, but sadly he didn't get the hint.

I used to do the passive aggressive counter offer with a garbage trade. Then I decided to just reject the offer unless I was actually willing to work something out.

I used to have an owner like that in my AL only league. Finally, I emailed him and send to think about whether anyone in their right mind would accept your trade offer before you send it out. If the answer's no, try to make it a little more fair. Problem solved and he hasn't sent me another offer like that.
