Fanstasy baseball- pitchers

I am fairly new to FB and I've got pretty good hitters but I'm struggling with my pitching (I think). Whats the best way to score points with the pitchers? Do yo get more points for starting pitchers vs relief pitchers? Should I carry more of one vs the other? I play in Yahoo if that helps.TIA

it depends how the the scoring for pitching is weighted in your league

Liriano is coming of the DL this weekend and he's been tearing up AAA, he's given up just 1 run in his last 35 innings! I just picked him up, and he's probably available in most non-keeper leagues.
