To those asking question about why your roster is strange it is because the teams reflect last years game including all trades that were made.
This isn't the NBA as you know it.

My team took hits when Elton Brand went down for the season early and Cut Mobley retired. Ouch.

The following teams may open up (I think a high probability): Denver, Portland, Memphis, Boston, Minnesota. Take a look at the rosters, and let me know who you want, and if the GM from that team does not step up by 5:00 today, I will remove him/her and you can take over that team.
How do you plan on trading a guy that isn't on your roster?

Get used to it. You will figure out soon enough who works within reality.
I will say this again. The GM's have to keep prices within reality. Contract demands from some of the agents last year were stupidly high.
Hopefully my entire roster gets injured again this year.

agreed. FA contracts were WAY to high last season. Probably one of the reasons a lot of the GM's didn't come back, they didn't have much $$ left. Orlando has like 3 guys signed from last season. I feel bad for their GM. I have no idea how that guy will put together a whole team without trading away Howard for a bunch of pieces
I might sign up as an agent if that's possible, since I missed the team selection.

I paid a lot for Elton Brand but he was worth it. Some of the crap I went through trying to get Monta Ellis was stupid.

Putting together a team and working the money around is fun. Placing the line-ups during the seaon got boring fast.
I am convinced the cap doesn't mean **** in the NBA.
