What do you guys think about Devin Thomas next year?
How do you guys think MICHIGAN STATE alumni Devin Thomas of the Washington Redskins is going to do?
I found this from FantasyFootballTalk.net explaining why Devin Thomas is a sleeper
"Devin Thomas, WR Redskins – Though his rookie season may have been a mess, Devin Thomas will post much better numbers in his second year. He has unlimited potential and is capable of posting great numbers if he can learn the offense. He is a big and fast receiver with solid hands but learning the offense has been his biggest problem. He seems to have dedicated himself this off season and could take over the number 2 receiving job from Antwaan Randle El. If all goes well, Thomas could have around 800 total yards and 5 touchdowns. He’s worth taking a late round flier on."

Campbell scares me, but from everything I've read it sounds like he's ready to have the a breakout season and shut the critics up. I wouldn't plan on Thomas being anything higher than a WR3 but I hope I'm wrong.

Yeah, I think people are way to hard on Jason Campbell and that he's a lot better than people give him credit for. He can do some damage.

speaking of sleepers, what about Duckett out in Seattle doing some damage this year? Julius Jones is definitely average and Duckett should see the majority of the goal line carries. Now sure if he's good enough to use as your RB2 however.

I wouldn't trust any of Seattle's running backs. Ducket could be a goal line vulture, but not enough to warrant being used. Jones could be decent, as he averaged 4.4 YPC last season.

Maybe...in a 12 team 16 round draft could you take a flier at the end or watch as FA

Yeah, he's well worth a flier IMO

I might pick up Thomas in the late (12-14 rounds) as a 3rd WR........but that is it.
As far as Duckett goes Seattle has not straightened out their O-line or their WR situation....
so while he might get a majority of the goal line carries......there might not be too many of those
to warrant doing anything but picking him up for a week or so due to match-ups.

TJ duckett isn't going to be worth anything this season. Maybe in leagues that give extra points for touchdowns he could be worth taking a flier on, but he has little value otherwise

Devin Thomas won't be drafted in my league and one of the guys is a huge Skins fan.
Duckett will probably be drafted in my league and be stuck on the bench until he pulls off a 2 td game.

Update bump: as you well know, TJ was cut by the Seahawks. I would not be surprised if he were signed somewhere. I wonder about Carolina, depending on the seriousness of Stewart's Achilles issue.
As far as Devin, everything I've been hearing is that Malcolm Kelly is grabbing the 2nd WR spot behind Santana Moss. I hear nothing about Devin. I have Campbell on one roster as a backup QB and am on the fence about cutting him, because I think it's quite possible he's gonna have a "shut you up" season. If he does, I think Devin features prominently in that, at minimum as a bye-week play. If not,.....
Well, Devin gave us a lot of memories at Spartan Stadium.
