fantasy football keeper leagues
i just joined my first keeper league ever after about 7 years of doing fantasy...
i joined getting the worst team in the league in previous years and i dont know the difference in drafting mindset... i am going to keep three of the following four
reggie wayne, darren mcfadden, roy williams, vincent jackson...
i get to choose first what draft position i want, and i am wondering how drafting for a keeper league changes compated to a regular league

There are significant differences in drafting styles but you did not give enough information about the league. How many people can you keep? Are there restrictions on what players you can keep? What do you lose for each player you keep? Without knowing that it is hard to help you out other then to say Roy Williams and Vincent Jackson should not be considered keepers in any league.

Depends on the rules of the league...Some change the amount of draft picks depending on how many players you decide to keep and some limit the number of years in a row you can keep a player. The second rule is the most important in building a consistant winner.
Out of those players I would dump Jackson...I doubt he can put up the same stats and you always want to stockpile RBs

trust me the team i recieved is terrible my current roster is
QB:jake delhome,Jamaquis Russel
RB: darren mcfadden, Jonathon Stewart, Jamal Charles, Willis Mcgehe, Ryan Torian
WR: vincent jackson, reggie wayne, Greg Camarillo, Roy Williams, Jerichop Cotchery
TE: Tony Scheffler
you get to keep three people, there are restriction on keepers... vets you get to keep for two years, and sophomores you get to keep three... my only guy worth keeping with only one more year on his keeper status is wayne. you dont lose anything for the players you keep. and since my team came in last in the previous season i get to choose first where i draft...

I would keep McFadden, Wayne, and either Stewart or Delhomme(he would depend on what QBs are available in the draft as not kept..or just draft a rookie QB first)
