Do you make this trade? (Fantasy)
Trade Fred Taylor / P. Price and get M. Bennett / Hines Ward?
I know I'm losing a little since M. Bennett is always hurt, but I have moe. I don't think I need to explain that it would be a huge improvement from P. Price to Hines Ward.
FWIW my league counts 1pt. reception/6 Rec TD./1pt 10 yrds rec.
My team
J. Plummer (I know he sucks)
Duece Mc.
Fred Taylor
DeShaun Foster
M. Williams
W. Green
C. Johnson
P. Price
C-Rog
R. Wayne
D. Driver

I say yes...fred taylor is an injury waiting to happen and even though bennett is down right now i think your better off with bennett and ward rather then taylor and Price

I wouldn't - Fred Taylor (as stated by Spartan Al) is an exclusive starting back. Further, the Steelers have rededicated themselves to the run - Ward will still be big time, but his number will most likely go down a bit.

Agree...don't do it. The difference between Fred and Michael is greater than Hines and Peerless. And in most FFL leagues, RBs are gold.
my two cents.

I agree with Sparty10 on this one. Bennet may platoon, but he is the #1 back on a team that very likely will be the number one scoring offense in the league this year. No team can possibly account for Culpepper, Moss, and Bennett. Bennett is especially valuable if your league awards extra points for distance of TD's scored.

Taylor isn't exactly a picture of health, but when he plays he will be getting all of the carries. Bennett will be giving 1 yd touchdowns to Moe.

I drove by it the other day for the first time in a over a year - its all dressed up. Downtown Perry looks nice since they did all that work.
IMO - Charlies has the best burger in the mid-michigan area.

No way!!! Freddy is a #1 and if he stays healthy like the last 2 years, is poised to have a nice year. DelRio has mentioned that the Jags plan on running their offense through him more this year than in the past few. Hines is a big improvement, true, but Price should post better #'s than last year and you have some other nice WR's, like C Johnson and J Walker. You can platoon your other 3 WR's based on match-ups and get more than enough points. You cannot substitute haveing 2 very good RB's, since most don't have 2, let alone 1. Out of curiousity, how many WR's do you play at a time?

3 WR's
Right now I have
Johnson
Peerless
C-Rog penciled in with Reggie Wayne coming in for match-ups or if the Liedowns suck as usual.

Woops! Thought for some reason you had J Walker. My bad. Anyway, you know who is going to have a nice year is Reggie Wayne. Finally healthy, I think he'll be in your rotation by week 3. I've been known to be wrong though.....
I think the possibilities of Johnson, Rogers and either Wayne or Price should be more than adaquate! Let me know how it goes.

Whats all this hype about Taylor for? The guy had his best year last year and still avg less than 100 yrds per game and only scored 6 times. Thats his best year. He has lost what made him so good a few years ago - speed. Bennett will score more fantasy points than Taylor this year, unless he gets injured. They are both somewhat injury prone, so thats a push. Also, Greg Jones will get some goal line carries for jacksonville, as will Moe Williams for Minny. There are two differences among them: 1) Speed. Bennett is the fastest RB in the league, and 2) Bennett will be plying for the best offense in the league.

Name other backs who average over 100 yds a game.

Gotta disagree, Freddy is still bery fast and strong. Honestly, do we really know? Lets let it play out. I think he'll have a fine year, remind me about 7 weeks in SpartyOn.

I think your missing the most important point. Fred Taylor (I'm almost positive) is in a contract year, hence, he will play and he will produce. And although P. Price will improve, Freddy is primed for top 5 in the league
I'm with the majority, don't make the trade

Peerles Price will have a better year than Ward, and Taylor will be a stud, you are getting robbed blind if you take that.
