I don't like my fantasy teams....
i know it's only one week into the season, but I'm not very fond of my teams. There seems to be a lot of uncertainty at the running back position. The way I see it, there are three teirs:
Tier 1 (Proven winners):
Tomlinson
Holmes
Green
McAllister
Alexander (semi-injured)
Portis
Tier 2 (has beens, but solid + up and comers)
Faulk
James
Martin
Griffin
Henry
Tier 3 (everybody else)
T. Jones - verdict still out
B. Westbrook
E. Smith - he'll fade through the season
The problem is that in both leagues, I have one tier 1 (McAllister & Tomlinson) and then a bunch of Tier 3's. Who am I missing in Tier 2, or who has a chance of moving up to Tier 2 from Tier 3...I may be missing some. I'm frustrated.....

How did you put Griffin in tier 2 after one week of play?

Thanks for the input on all the players I missed in Tier 2. However, I'm looking for Tier 3 players that have the potential to move upto Tier 2.

Griffin is up and coming....at 23 years old he had 24 touches with 2 touchdowns....AND did a great job blocking linebackers. He had one of the best all around performances of the week. i know it's only one week, but you can't look past this guy.

I am really impressed by him too. I think he will be solid but hasn't proven himself yet.

Its pretty sad when the highest scoring player you had was Jeff Garcia vs. the Ravens, and he was on your bench.

Don't worry....the Saints will be implementing their fullback set more and taking out the two TE set...this will help Deuce Bigalow.

How can you not have Jamal Lewis as Tier 1, and I could be wrong but I think that Rudi Johnson will break out this year in a big way.

znerd, I don't think you even looked at this. I think Smith might turn into the feature back in Minnesota.

My fantasy team is amazing. basically all ex-michigan staters and lions
QB Mcnabb
Wr Mason
Wr Plaxico
Wr Rogers
Rb Alexander
Rb Duckett
TE Chris Baker
Defense Carolina
Qb Harrington
Rb Kevin Jones
*I picked up Muhammed when Rogers got hurt
For a moment, I seriously thought about drafting Tony Banks. But then I realized I was basically just pissing away 10$. but still, if harrington or Mcnabb go down....Jim Miller and Banks are on my short list to pick them up

I looked at it, but some of my competitors lurk on this board...I agree about Smith...I'll have to trade to get him, though.

I am banking on O.Smith taking over in Minny myself, but I have concerns over his suspension (and character). I'm not sure if I can compete in my league if my RB situation doesnt improve as the season goes.
My roster:
QB's: Vick, Delhomme, Rattay, Schaub,
RB: T.Henry, O.Smith, K.Jones, G.Jones
WR: T.Owens, L.Fitzgerald, C.Chambers, R.Woods
TE: F.Jones, A.Becht
K: Who Cares
Def: Tampa

I hope you're right. I got roped into participating into a money league (someone backed out 2 hours before the draft on Labor Day weekend, so my husband talked me into joining as a last minute replacement), and I really don't want to p!ss away $40.
My roster actually pretty decent, especially considering I've never done FF before and only had a couple of hours to prepare for the draft. But last week was a *****ty one.

because he runs behind Denver's O-Line....notice how every RB they have does well...are they all that good or a product of the system, granted they do have some talent to begin with

Without a doubt. It makes me sick to think about it.
T. Davis
Gary
Anderson
Portis
Griffin
All becoming top RB's because of Denver's O-Line. Ridiculous. We saw Gary in Detroit last year.

QB: Pennington
WR: Randy Moss
WR: Roy Williams
WR: Marty Booker (was STEVE SMITH until he got hurt)
RB: Fred Taylor (I may sub in E. Smith if he doesn't get going)
RB: Quentin Griffin (He is going to have a great year)
TE: Antonio Gates
K: Jason Elam
Def: Tampa Bay
After the draft, everyone made fun of my team. I won and scored the second most points in week one. Now I am entertaining trade offers.
Listen to this one:
Griffin, Moss, and Smith(before injury)
for P. Holmes, Brad Johnson, Deion Branch
Not a chance.
