fantasy football trade?????
Here is the deal. (Those of you who don't like fantasy football, feel free to move on to another thread). I am in a 12 team, 1 keeper league and have LaDainian Tomlinson, who I planned on keeping til my pubes turn grey.
I have been offered Deuce McAllister and Edgerrin James for Tomlinson. My other backs are Corey Dillon, Kevin Jones and DeShaun Foster. I'm hesitant to give up a stud like LT, but that's not a bad offer even with Deuce being out a few more weeks. Thoughts? I'm leaning towards saying "no" because LT is doing very well and the other two are dinged up.

Ok, he just upped his offer:
L. Coles, E. James, D. McAllister for L. Tomlinson.

Keep LT. There is a reason those guy want to give you their teams. Why have all of those guys sitting on the bench?

Yeah, I think I'm going to hang on to LT. If Edge and Deuce were both healthy, that would make it more tempting especially because Coles would help my crappy wr's. I think I'll stand pat. LT will be a great keeper for years to come. I'm competitve right now, so no need to mortgage the future.

At beginning of the year, it's a tough call. Right now, keep LT til your pubes fall out.

Ok, this guy has a hard-on for LT, which I understand. He's now offering me the following:
Kevan Barlow
Edgerrin James
Michael Vick
Laveranues Coles
for
LaDainian Tomlinson
Donald Driver
Carson Palmer or Rich Gannon (my choice)
DeShaun Foster
I'll probably still pass. I'm sure that's the most I'll get out of him because he's out of good players!
So my lineup now:
Bulger
C. Palmer
Gannon
LT
Dillon
K. Jones
D. Foster
H. Ward
P. Price
R. Gardner
D. Driver
K. McCardell
My potential new lineup:
Vick
Bulger
Gannon
Edge
Barlow
Dillon
K. Jones
H. Ward
L. Coles
P. Price
R. Gardner
K. McCardell

I might be tempted with the latest offer, making Vick your keeper for the future. In addition, if you did it, I would throw in Gannon rather than Palmer. Gannon only has a couple more years in him, Palmer may blossom into something.

Vick is a scary franchise player. He has limitless potential. My fear is that his running style may cause him to get injured.
Oh and just for fun, here is my lineup:
Vick
Carr
(We start 2 qb's every week)
------
Tomlinson
Curtis Martin
(Fred Taylor on bench)
---------
Chad Johnson
Darrell Jackson
Joe Horn
(Roy Williams, Ashley Lelie and Bobby Engram on bench)
----------
Jeremy Shockey
---------
Feely (K)
-------
Skins Def
-------
Jamie Sharper (Def Player)
:P

You pretty much have to be invited into them. Find out which of your friends/co-workers are in leagues and express an interest in joining. If someone drops out or dies you can take their spot.
