Brees is hot.
Brooks should be solid.
Tiki and Westbrook should be solid.

I would go with Brees and Brooks as well. Maybe you guys can help me, I start 1 QB and I'm deciding between Brees and Brooks. Brees home vs. TB or Brooks @ DAL? Such a tough call.
Also... any word on if D Jackson will be playing @ MIN? He flew home to visit his sick father and is listed as Probable.

Depends.....do you get penalized for interceptions? If you do I'd go with Brees...he'll throw conservatively. If you don't go with Brooks....he'll air it out but likely make some dumb mistakes.

McGahee, Droughns, Westbrook. Barber is going against the Ravens D and he is healthy. McGahee is going against one of the worst D's in the NFL . Westbrook is always a threat.

On paper Droughns and McGahee have the best matchups. But Barber can get some points. Westbrook had a monster day last week but I can't ever remember him following up that kind of performance, and I think Washington's D will keep the score much lower than GB's D did.

Taylor is risky. Look at his stats this year and you will see how inconsistent he has been.
Droughns could also be risky due to the emergence of Tatum Bell. If Bell gets hot they will stay with him. Look at thethe matchups I guess.

Taylor is going against a Bears D that has given up the most rushing yards in the league the past 3 weeks. I would bench Barber.

Question: I am in a sticky spot in my league. The top 4 teams qualify, "out of 12" and there are two teams battling for the last spot. I take on one of them this week. If the other team wins then I am not in the middle of anything. However if the other team loses and the team I am playing beats me they are in. The team I am playing this week is a much softer opponent than the other squad. So do I tank it this week to help myself in the long run or would that bring bad karma?

A a Barber owner I'll tell you I benched him this week. His numbers have been on a big slide since Manning took over and there is no semblance of a passing game threat. FWIW

Also take Brees and Brooks. I benched Pennington and cut Santana Moss finally this week. At Pitt is going to be a grind em out type game. That and when NO scores they do it through the air. Brooks will throw for 300 today.
