I think Appling will commit for '10 before MSU gets another '09 commit. It just seems like Appling is the closest to pulling the trigger. I have heard this Sherman commit may pressure Kirk into commiting though so you could be right m_sell31.

His nickname is "Pogo". He dunks everything in the paint. He is really athletic. Not much of an medium or outside range shot. When I hear people describe him I think of Marquise Gray.

Scout - Donnovan Kirk Piling Up Offers - What's Next?

Offers from USC, Miami, MSU, and USF. Recently visited South Florida. Going to start narrowing down schools in July. Any new teams are too late.

Surprised to see USF involved. That would be a big get for Stan Heath.

This kid has got to chose MSU. We can offer some good playing time at that position and he'll be a part of some great teams coming up.

He did not have that much better of a year than riley did. While both Riley and Kirk have offers Izzo isnt exactly pressing either for a commitment. It seemed according to that article msu is slow playing him. That's what I took from it. If Izzo pressed he would be a State commit long ago.

I don't understand something here. If you have an offer and you want to play at a school, you don't necessarily have to have love from the coaches too. The offer is the love. It seems it would be a dangerous thing for there to be offers out there to kids we really don't want to sign. Does that really happen?

That sucks.... I dont know how much I really like this kid.

Everything I read is that his stock is dropping and that he doesn't play with any passion.

There are multiple players I would have rather had commit....

1. Jamil Wilson
2. Noel Johnson
3. Howell

Also... who can actually confirm this: last post says he has a solid verbal to MSU via Scout.com (or Rivals.com) but the message/post above it says that he already committed to South Florida?
