Draymond Green is ranked #35 by ESPN...
The thing that makes Green so interesting as a prospect is his versatility. His ability to post and score inside at 240 lbs makes him too big and strong for small forwards to handle. Then on the flip side he's very skilled with the basketball on the wing, and can bury 3-pointers consistently. Green is also a very good passer and handles the ball well in the open court. How well he plays in college will likely depend on him keeping his weight in check. He's much more effective as a quick power forward than as a slow powerful wing forward. His high basketball IQ is an added bonus.
Played with The Family (injured this summer at the NBPA Camp and Peach Jam). He's a big power forward who can score around the basket. He's a big bodied kid and a good rebounder. Everything with him was block to block, although he can step out away from the hoop and shoot the ball a bit.

This is interesting. Don't believe he's been anywhere close to this highly ranked. I recall seeing an article about how the opinions on him were all over the place, but this is really high. He is still 122 on Rivals and 98 on Scout. He is not on the RSCI latest top 100 ranking. Will Rivals and Scout update their 2008 rankings?

You'd think they would but Rivals and Scout have been notorious for ignoring conference-season results and over-relying on the summer stuff. But yeah...you'd think, logically, that the best player on the #5 ranked team in the country ( GatorBait.net - Final Rivals.com FAB 50 Boys Rankings ) would be ranked higher than #100 or whatever he's currently ranked by those guys.

Draymond was recognized as one of the top 40 players in nation this week by Parade Magazine en route to a 4th Team selection on their Parade All-American lists. And that's (sort of) top 40 in all grades combined as Parade AA lists are open to any player in any grade.
Nice.
