I don't want to be a downer, but I don't think we have many early entry candidates on this roster. A lot of solid guys, but I don't think they're early entry guys at this point. Maybe I'm off, but that's my opinion. My dream class is: Sherman Kirk Howell/Wilson Stewart & Sims Simons is more likely than Stewart from what I've seen though. |

Good to see that you guys are looking well for the future. I send congrats on your run and know that you'd have liked it to be longer. We, also, would have liked to have gotten to the Uclans as we've beaten them at Pauley and in Morgantown in the past 3 years. We just ran out of gas and shouldn't have. I see that we'll be playing each other in football in a couple years. That's good. Next year will be our best shot being that it will be White's last year but with our returnees and new recruits, we can show a backfield of 3 guys who run legitimate 4.3's. The other plus is that Bill Stewart has taken over for the Michigan coach and the kids love him and the new assistants, who are mostly ex-Mountaineers. Well, enough said about us.....the best to you Spartans.

Pretty simple really. Take the best player available who is interested.
We have 4 ships available for 09 (unless i'm mistaken). I think we should only use 3 and bank one so that we have 3 for 10. 1. Sherman is in so our C position is taken care of. 2. Wilson is the very easy choice. Guys rated the #2 PF by Scout and if he is interested we should be putting on the full press. 3. Ari Stewart would be a perfect back up to Morgan and a great sub should Morgan go one year early (at this point I highly doubt it). I don't care about other options because we should always be shooting for the best. However, fall back positions should be........... 4. Howell. Highly rated at his position and as I recall, he has always had MSU pretty high (don't know how much that has changed since we've slowed on him a bit). 5. Noel Johnson. Another highly rated guy and the only reason he is this low is because I don't think he really fits as big a need as the others above. Having said that, certainly wouldn't be a disappointment if he was one of the three. That's it. I usually favor taking at least one Michigan kid every class but from everything I'm hearing (on the net, radio, papers, etc), the Michigan class for 09 isn't the best. GO GREEN! |

Just FYI, Jamil Wilson is in no way a PF. He's a pure SF with enough skill to post a smaller opponent.

1. Lucas 2. Lucious 3. Morgan 4. Allen 5. Summers 6. Dahlman 7. Herzog 8. Roe 9. Green Assuming everyone stays, Morgan and Dahlman would be graduating in 2010, so you'd have two slots available if used all 4 scholarships for the 2009 class. |

What if Dahlman get's a midd career RS? That would leave 3 Ships for '09 and 3 Ships for '10. I'm assuming Dahlman redshirts next season and 3 ships will be used in '09 and '10.
'09 C. Sherman C. Nix Sf. Wilson '10 Pg. ? Sg. Appling Pf. Horford |
