"There is no question that our commitment to football is a priority," Hollis said, referring to a program that hasn't won a Big Ten title since 1990 and hasn't been to the Rose Bowl since the 1987 season.

"On my part, there will be no rest until it is the norm for the football season to open and anticipate that the season will end with the paint of roses on our cleats."
