He's the one who told all of us that he'd admit he was wrong if UM didn't pass MSU this year.

Did you see this idiot's article today, 3/12/06?
Carty's own words:
No matter where the Wolverines are playing this coming week, the days of Teflon Tommy are over. It's impossible for anyone watching the past season to overlook the flawed recruiting, missing in action offense, last-minute coaching mistakes and unmotivated players (and almost impossible to keep blaming it all on Ed Martin, as has been the excuse for years).
Maybe, he has opened his eyes a bit and has put down his arrogant, delusional pipe--but I doubt it.

The University of Michigan, meanwhile, is this state's historically dominant basketball program, and Michigan kids will flock here over any other option if the Wolverines are decent.
|
The above quote is the main reason that Carty gets ridiculed for this article. It is an arrogant and ignorant statement.

Thanks! I love that mess of an article. What a complete and utter tool.

Here's the bottom line. Carty was wrong then, he's an idiot now. He wrote me a letter stating he would apologize if MSU was ahead of Michigan in this years standings. Think he will? I"m betting no. He's a homer.
If you "predict" the end of a program, a team or whatever long enough, one year you'll be right. Hell if Wob Parker keeps saying Izzo is leaving he'll be right once. That's not the point. The point is Carty is not a journalist, he's a homer, a Michigan homer and it's pathetic. Just another Ann Arbor sychophant who has his nose up the rear of the Michigan athletic department. So be it.

Did Carty every write that letter of apology to Dwags? I'm betting no. What a nancy.

Jeez, the SCum fckus can be sooooooooooo fckunig annoying!!!
Carr's been lucky up until now, he hasn't had to really deal with Michigan State. He's received a huge boost in his program building by circumstances like the JLS/BW debacle, the ugly end of the Nick Saban era, the inability of Bobby Williams to figure out he needed good kids, not just good players, to succeed at Michigan State.

........................... The free pass has been canceled. Michigan vs. Michigan State is an even fight again, and it's going to be a fight. The Spartans are ahead now, and will be a factor as long as Izzo is in Lansing, but in the long run my money is on the guy who's too busy coaching to appear on the radio.

Ever hear that chump on the radio? LOFL!!! He tries to sound thoughfull and reflective; constantly pausing in the middle of sentences to give the appearance he's deeply intellectual. Its a GDF joke. All he needs to be a complete parody it to add a William F Buckley fake Brittish accent.
The sad truth is, there are very few in his business that are not like him. They are almost all full of SHI+.

What a Tool. Michigan has yet to make the NCAA tournament let alone make the Final Four. I'm gonna find this guy and kick him in the nuts and piss "go MSU" on the back of his nice, clean button up shirt.
