This whole thing is BS. He NEEDS to stay for his senior year. Shame on those in EL who are writing him off. Don't you people understand that if we don't have Shannon's services next year, we're gonna be in trouble? Enough of this NBA talk already, sheesh.

We will be in trouble anyway, but I just wants what is best for him. Staying prolly would be good, but if his stock moves up that much then go for it. Just be sure.

when he first entered the draft he was just testing the waters but apparently his draft stock has really soared. It's not unbelievable, i mean the kid has an intense work ethic and i bet he silenced any doubts most scouts had. he should do what's best for himself and if he has 1st round guarantees (which it looks like he does have now) then he should bolt.

Let's just thank Shannon for what he's contributed to MSU basketball. Can't hate on the guy, he was a model Spartan.

Exactly, sucks for all of us, but i hope Shannon has a hall of fame career. Shannon's gonna be a guy we can all be proud of, and he'll come home to MSU just like Mateen, Charlie, Andre, MoPete do in the offseason to train and help train the younger Spartans.

I'm really hoping GG1979 comes back to this thread. Nothing good is on TV until later and I need some entertainment.

Totally agree. No fans should have any ill feelings toward him, should he not withdraw his name from the draft. He's a great Spartan.

It'll be exciting to watch him in the pros next year. I hope he gets drafted by a team that he will be able to start on. And hopefully he practices on his ballhandling and will be an immeadiate contributer...

Shannon Brown, a starter his rookie year

I love the guy, but you are reaching severly, he'll be lucky if he gets 15 minutes a game

Good luck to him in the league. He truly was one of the greatest physical specimens to ever put on a Spartan jersey and always worked his *** off. I hope he stars in the league.

He just drew Amare Stoudemire comparisions...ure saying there no team that Shannon could start on after 10-15 games of showcasing his talent? If Ager gets drafted by Utah he'll start, and Shannon>Mo

Huh . What Shannon NEEDS to do is do what is best for him. I think that most people realize that it will be even tougher not to have him back but that happens. Do you think if people don't talk about it then it won't happen? He is a great Spartan .
