Msu Jet Or Leased Jet?

Does anyone know if MSU owns their own airplane or do they lease a jet?

Got the tail #?

If it is used for the fooball program, I hope MSU has good "crash and burn" insurance.

I remember the stink earlier this year, because and {coachp} used the state of MI's plane. Thing is, they rented it. The papers were all OVER MSU, because they thought they were getting free rides. Nice Blue Wall.

I am willing to bet MSU still rents these planes.

Wasn't McPherson once quoted as saying that he wished MSU had it's own jet like LSU because then he could sell it?

No, MSU does not have its own aircraft. Any they are using would be chartered and/or leased, so it would be hard to trace the tail numbers.

LOL...I totally remember that, instead of retracting their vitriol and anointing MSU hoops coaches as friends of the state, they just went into a hole...

Interesting. There is a leased Corporate Jet headed to Lansing from Baton Rouge right now. It should land in Lansing at 11:50pm.

No Joke.. My sources informed me.

This reeks of a GR courthouse, but I like the possibility nonetheless...

I thought after that a law got quickly passed saying state planes had to be used for state business.

I'd believe this info over the Ferguson comments.

edit: If I had to pick something to believe

It's cruel to tease Spartan fans this way, they already have decreased life spans due to their college football allegiance!

This damn story has more legs, suspense, and intrigue than any novel. More twists and turns.

Why was the plane in Columbus first????

Very interesting that a jet went from Lansing to Baton Rouge and is headed to lansing. Then the damn thing stops in Cincinatti just to make us a little more crazy. Read my signature line.

It went from OSU to Lansing, to Baton Rouge, back to Cincy for 1.5 hrs, and then Lansing.

Could be something, could be nothing, but who keeps a plane at OSU for MSU to use? Where does the Quicken Loans guy live in Ohio?

This is fun. I am thinking, however, that the plan could be carrying the MSU representative that is informing the other candidates in person that they will not be getting an offer and that we appriciate their participation.
