$aban is set for life. Its Alabama that will be getting the short end of the stick. You don't think every school in the south will be able to negatively recruit against him for his cut and run ways? Count on it.
Sooner or later, your reputation catches up to you. He's a certifide, A #1 whore and for that reason will be unable to gain the trust of many recruits thus he will have a hard time getting enough of the best players at Alabama to win like the fans expect. Boo hoo Bama!
I truly think $aban has a severe mental disorder that makes him feel persecuted and anxious in every employment situation he finds himself in. I know guys like him that haven't been able to stay at one job for more than 3 years, but they are going from one $10 per hr job to the next. He's a lucky, lucky man that he found the right profession and right formula and its working for him. On the other hand, he seems like he must be the most unhappy multi-millionaire in America.
Have fun Bama for all that glitters is not gold.

Carpetbagger extraordinaire. It's what $aban does best. Will there EVER be enough "new challenges" (re: $$$$) to satisfy this guy? Enjoy the roller coaster ride Bama...it's bound to be yet another short one.

What's the challenge in skipping out on the job before it's anywhere near finished?

BTW, he shut down access to Miami like no other before him, ever. I believe one of his nicknames was the Nickitador. And not only did he shut down access, but he also tried to dictate terms of what he would and wouldn't allow for questions.
And he did issue an ultimatum to the press this past Friday that he was done talking about the Alabama job.
He and his agent play people like no other, a great snakeoil salesman show. It was his second year here that I really got tired of it, and it killed us repeatedly in recruiting, ironic in that Saban cried about how tough it was when he was the one making it much harder on himself by constantly flirting with the NFL>

He won't need to. He might want to, but he won't need to.

good article. Nick once again handled things badly. He will hide behind the family issue.

le batard is french for bastard. i'm not $aban's biggest fan, but bastard's language is a bit strong. it's the kind of talk he'd never even dare imply to $aban's face.

DON'T F$#$#ING LIE.
Say "No comment" all you want, refuse to talk to the media, hide out at home, do whatever you want, just stop the f$#$#king lying.
But then again, $aban doesn't know how to tell the truth. He's been lying so long, he probably forgot how.

Maybe he doesn't think he's good enough.
Maybe it's a family decision.
I know we've decided that it's because he's a scum bag ass bag loser, greedy and self centered.
Wouldn't it be weird if it was for a differenct reason?

well, I think we found one person who's still sold on Nick's strong talk.
as for reasons why Nick left, he has established a pretty well-worn pattern. He's also turned a superbowl pick into a loser. And what hasn't been discussed here is that there are rumors the Fins are for sale, and if Wayne goes, chances are Saban's crappy coaching goes with it.
