Besides his stature, what made you think of him as a PG?
His great ball-handling? His ability to run the offense? Ability to break down the D?
Passing ability? And I suppose you could flip that around and say what made anyone think of Timbo as a SG? And you'd be right...as he never really exhibited any real SG skills either.
Tim was simply a defensive guard who provided energy off the bench. He had no real position.

He was talking about Travis Walton...who is most definitely a PG.

Walton is a PG and who we were talking about. That's who you were attacking in your initial post, so that's who I was defending.
And a guy like Travis Walton IS the kind of player that you win a Big Ten championship with. His attitude has been the most infectious on this ballclub. He is the guy that locks down on defense. He is the one that chirps to his teammates out there on the court. He is the one being a leader. I said this in another thread, but I am glad MSU got him rather than Dominic James.

In that case, I apologize and I agree. Travis most definitely is a PG and will play a crucial role on the team over the next couple of years. Though I admittedly wonder if he is best serving the team next year acting as the starting PG...especially if Neitzel is the starting SG.

Don't forget Brown.
