Oh sweet jesus... he-whos-name-cannot-be-mentioned has been posting on their board. (Nick) He's not even allowed to post here anymore, and yet he's the one repping us on their board.
I have no problems with Iowa State fans. Sure, there will likely be some words exchanged in the heat of the "competition" (if you can call a relatively meaningless internet poll a "competition" ), but if I were to make a list of "College Programs With Sports Fans That I Despise," Iowa State wouldn't be anywhere close to appearing on that list.
P.S. I did find it funny that one guy said that we have a helmet for a mascot? Apparently he hasn't seen the assorted ESPN and other commercials featuring Sparty. Ah well...I don't care enough about it to bother registering for their board and pointing that out.

While some of you might be ready to hit the panic button at that point, there really is no need, because with that the count would be 600,000 - 400,000, giving us a 200,000 vote lead. That's a pretty significant lead, and even with all of the cheater programs that MSU's using, that'll be difficult to overcome..

While I haven't been participating in the polls (beyond one vote each round), I find it quite amusing that the losing side automatically assumes there is cheating involved. People are SO damn jaded it's unbelievable.

I wonder if Joshuab was referring to some kind of athletics program at HIS school, the University of Phoenix

I was actually bored enough to read through that ISU thread and found it most amusing. They were so cocky at the beginning but their cockiness steadily became panic and desperation. At first they didn't mind losing a few percentage points and even justified it by stating their lead growth. But as soon as they realized they were falling behind they pretty much started freaking out.
My feeling on this whole thing is that internet polls are about as worthless as tits on a nun but I do appreciate the entertainment provided by the Cylone fans in the midst of a meltdown.

Yeah, I was thinking the exact same thing while reading. They started doing all of that questionable math, I skipped about two pages, and then it was all about how we're cheating and they are the REAL winners because they played fair or some nonsense.
