The swoosh seems more prominent than the school name.
The lettering on the front of the jerseys looks terrible. I'm also against the helmet stripe. While I agree with the notion that the unis could be much worse, they could also be better - they could be last year's, which were perfect.

It's not so much that the "MICHIGAN STATE" is too low, it's TOO SMALL.

IMO the front lettering looks a lot better in the video than it did in the pictures. No idea why. I see what TB means by the helmets not matching in the vids too.

I agree, but with pads that should push both the number and lettering further up.
Edit: After looking at the pics again it seems they are wearing pads.... why do they look so puny?

I was just about to say...
Anyway, have to say I dig it. I was a little worried since I like the look the team had the past four years, but this is sweet. Clean. Simple. Easy to recognize and remember. Hope they fix the font, though. Aside from that, looke like State's got a nice design for the forseeable future.

Is it just me or is it weird not having Stanton there talking about MSU football? Brian is pretty awesome, but I'm afraid he doesn't seem as charismatic as Drew was...and has a rather unimpressive hairline to boot. But I am confident he will be one heck of a QB, and that's all that matters.

Nice unis overall. Hopefully these will be remembered as a footnote to an excellent season. Two things, - They should send a uniform to every living letter winner on their alumni (with their name and number) list. (ie Bubba Smith)
- Will there be a commemorative Rose Bowl patch or jersey?
