New coach, new uniforms, a new MSU football"tradition".

Why can't an AD tell the coach helmets have stripes or Spartans or the Block S but not combinations? How does Penn State even field a team?

I am happy there is a specific shade of green that been adopted as the standard.

Why is the swoosh bigger than the Michigan State? The Michigan State looks squished down giving the prime real estate to the swoosh.

I think these unis suck.

Concept is good, execution sucks. I really wish the text wasn't so close to the number.

The 'Michigan State' font and number seem way too low on the chest and perhaps a little small?

Love the stripe on the helmet. The helmets are now perfect and match the jerseys.

Miss the 'Penn State' opposite-color collar trim. It was just enough to keep the jerseys from being 'plain'.

Overall, pretty well done IMO.

Like everyone else, the "Michigan State" looks too small and low on the jersey. Other than that, they look fine to me.

Michigan State is low and I don't like the spartan logo above the name in the back. Other than that, I like them.

It's BOTH too small and too low...and all white pants look dumb when worn with white jerseys....now that you have a stripe on the helmet, but a stripe on the pants. At the end of the day, just win.

Why is it that so many people in this thread are complaining, but in the poll "yes" is kicking "no"'s ass?

I would like to know why you people are treating this uniforms thing like it's

the end of the world.

Seriously.

I think Hoyer is just wearing it wrong. His shoulder pads are a good 3-4 inches above Thornhill's but the MICHIGAN STATE is at the exact same level. Look at the back and his name is all bunched up around his neck. Thornhill is wearing it correctly, you are all complaining about nothing, the lettering is not too low on Thornhill's jersey. Hoyer obviously does not have it adjusted correctly.

Feel free to complain about the swoosh though!

It's because he's wearing the new "Quarterback Cut" he spoke about in the video. Supposed to give him more neck mobility he says...

if MSU's jersey are not changed by September 1st then they will be worse than last year. The jersey font sucks and its too low. Anyone who thinks different is delusional and stupid.

If you're gonna go "old school", go all the way....Black shoes, and a thin Green stripe on the pants. I'm all for the stripe on the helmet, but it looks out of place with no stripe on the pant! With the same pants, I think last years helmet is better.

That said, the font thing gets better the more I look at it. I do like it better than the "Reebok/stretch'em out/then Nike copy it" look. I guess I realize it ain't changing because the jersey seems do not allow it.

I wonder though, what this entire uniform does for an 17/18 yr old.....

I'm done, tee it up and let's play ball.
