Trevor is one of three people on the board that didn't want the traditional Spartan helmet stripe back.

You won’t believe it, but I’m going to do it again. Why the heck would I do it again? The answer is obvious – type 1 diabetes is a horrible disease that affects both my wife and daughter and I will do whatever it takes to cure it.

If riding a bike 105 miles for 12+ hours with 30+ MPH winds in a desert, gets people’s attention, I’m all for it.

It would have been better if they didn't change a thing, but they could have ****ed them up MUCH worse, so this is a step in the right direction.

Gotta have plenty of room for that swoosh.

What's funny is that the helmets match the uniforms in photos, but on TV there was a huge difference in the home green jerseys and the helmets.

I'll post the video sometime tomorrow morning probably.

The helmets are metallic. How are they supposed to match the jerseys?

I agree with you all, the Michigan State text looks too low, and the Spartan Logo above the name is kinda redundent, useless, and cheesy. Other than that, awesome stuff.

Easy, just have them the same shade of green.

It's very noticable in video, but looks ok in photographs.

If the only thing we can possibly nitpick about is the height of the "MICHIGAN STATE"...we should be sending thank you cards to Nike.

Consider the following:

Yeah, this could have been MUCH MUCH worse. Overall, I'm happy with them all things considered.

hopefully they move the lettering up. it is too low and makes the uniform look bad. if we can see it why can't the guys designing and MSU who is buying them see that.

I love them. Love them.

Love the spartan logo on the back right above the name.

Like the height of the "Michigan State" - looks old school and less like it's floating on the jersey. Love the block font.

Love the stripe on the helmet and the use of the spartan logo - I love that logo.
