Here's the official Apple one:

However there are lots of reports that the Jawbone Bluetooth Headset will also be sold next to iPhones in Apple and AT&T stores:

If Mac fans like you, mrob and Portland want to buy it, that's fine. If you want to buy out your current cell plan and bring the price tag up from $600 to $800, that's fine too because it's not my money.
Funny I get ripped on or personally attacked every time I say why I wouldn't buy some product that's made by apple. You'd almost think apple's fans were zealots. Technology is not religion people, calm down.

I can totally respect that someone would be able to find better smartphone solutions for their own personal needs. Corporate users for instance are not being targeted by Apple with the iPhone at all. I can envision a "professional" version of it coming out eventually though.
However, you can't tell me with a straight face after watching this that this isn't a damn impressive UI. It's certainly not your run of the mill Treo or Windows Mobile device.

After not reading a single post in this thread can someone tell me how much memory it has?

Yeah the UI demo looks good - but those headsets you posted above are fugly.
I'd still want to use the thing before I say for sure how good the UI is - half of interfacing with it really falls on the usability of the touch screen. Using one in person will be way more telling than a vendor-controlled demo.

Unlocked iPhones are already being offered :

Online retailer promises unlocked iPhones
Posted by Kent German
A liberated iPhone?
(Credit: Apple.com)
One of the most popular questions regarding the Apple iPhone asks whether Apple will sell unlocked models. So far, the consensus has been that such a move is unlikely, but much to our amazement, we noticed today that PureMobile.com, a online cell phone retailer, is touting unlocked iPhones on its Web site. It appears to be the 8GB version of the phone in black (is there any other color?).
Now before you whip out your credit card, we have to stress that PureMobile won't allow you to buy anything at the time of this writing. It only says the device is "coming soon." It also doesn't give a price, but shipping is $19 or $29, depending on your delivery speed.
Uh, excuse me? An unlocked iPhone that you could use on T-Mobile or any other GSM carrier? Needless to say, that blows the conventional wisdom out of the water. Not only would an unlocked version let too much control of the iPhone out of Apple's hands, but also we can't imagine that AT&T would be too happy with it, either. The carrier has spent a lot of money promoting itself as the exclusive provider of the iPhone. What's more, an unlocked phone would free you from the service contract that AT&T is requiring for iPhone buyers.
We're thoroughly skeptical that this is for real. PureMobile (a certified CNET retailer) was closed for the day at 3 p.m. Pacific time, so we couldn't verify any other details. As such, we advise you to take care before plunking down any cash. Also, it's important to note that an unlocked iPhone will be subject to the same peculiarities as all unlocked phones. You should be able to make calls without any problems, but without any carrier Internet settings, data features won't work out of the box.
Stay tuned for more. We'll be pressing our "refresh" button religiously.
Thanks Nathan

if i had AT&T and it cost around $300 i would, but they're just way to expensive and don't have the hi-speed internet connection.

I'm sure this has been discussed on here before, but what is the battery life of an IPhone?

Take with a grain of salt but Apple says:
Quote:
|
iPhone will feature up to 8 hours of talk time, 6 hours of Internet use, 7 hours of video playback or 24 hours of audio playback.* In addition, iPhone will feature up to 250 hours—more than 10 days—of standby time

it looks really cool but for 600 it is a lot.
if they had some deal where if u became a new member of AT&T u could get the phone for like, 200, then im sure i would consider it after my contract with sprint expires
i was pissed cuz i was at the apple store this weekend in chicago and they didnt even have one on display. tons of hype around it though, of course.

I hope this thing sells well because the software will be replicated quickly by other competitors and it will drive a software revolution across all manufacturers.
The apple iphone has cheap technology so you know it is all about the software.

You have to be kidding me. WHO EVER buys a new cellphone when it is released? Can you imagine the idiots that bought a Razr for $600??
In 1 year there will be more copies or iPhone will be <$200.

I probably would have tried it if they had made an Exchange sync for it. Sadly, they didn't.

They may be copies, but I highly doubt the iPhone will drop much in price. Look at the iPod - the high end is what, $50 cheaper than when it was released? Apple typically doesn't drop their price points much - they just add features/size/speed

That's very very unlikely. Apple doesn't work that way.

right, the 30 GB video was $300 when released, now it's $250. The 80 GB is now $350.
