i'm sure this question may have been asked before.
on the newest version of the facebook app, two bizarre things i've noticed:
1. often new inbox messages will continue showing as "un-viewed" though i have viewed them
2. it seems you cannot delete messages in your inbox?

I've discovered a $10 app called Orb that you can use in place of Sling. For TV, you would need a TV-tuner in your computer though. Also lets you get other media from your CPU. Best of all, it runs on 3G. I am very happy with it.

anyone have experience with the tape deck adapters and an iPhone?
I know this is the "buster" version by using a cassette tape, but I plan on getting a hardwired adapter put in sometime in the near future.
I am driving to the upper peninsula next week ad need something quick.
Do these work?

I got this battery back for my 3GS last week and I get a message saying that this accessory does not support charging. WTF? Does anyone else have this problem? Is there anything I can do to get it to work?

More info pls. Esplain how I can hook a TV tuner through my computer to one of my direcTV boxes and/or router....I've never tried this. Tia.

you have to punch in the recepient's 10 digit number and then "@" whatever provider they have. which is ******ed.

my other gripes are:
(1) that there is no way to have the phone ringer on, but only a vibrate option for new texts. 
(2) there is no external LED which blinks when you have a new VM, or text msg. 
i've had the phone for 4 days, i'll give it a 8/10. the only reason it doesn't get a better rating are the reasons above.

Got one similar from Monoprice for my 3Gs. I went with the $14 one, not sure which one you have. Anyway, I get that error once in a great while, usually I just need to take it out and put it back in again or kind of wiggle it. If your'e still getting that error there may be an issue with the battery pack.

Actually, it was Verizon who was moronic. If you remember they passed on the iPhone.

My setup is pretty simple. I have cable coax going into my CPU, via the TV-tuner. Downloaded Orb for my PC (free), and told the software where my media files were and what my cable service is (for channel listings). Lastly, download Orb for iPhone ($10) to stream your TV and media files to your phone.
I don't have my CPU near my cable box, but I am sure you can do that as well. I'd recommend a 3g signal for watching TV. Hope this helps.
