Question If you could have one singer's voice

Any singer, who would you choose?

This should be a fun thread. I mean honestly, Al Green, Wilson Pickett.. there are so many great singers. You can (and probably should rip me for this) but I love Michael Bolton and Michael McDonald's voices. The timbre of McDonald's voice is unparalleled. Sounds so low, until you try singing it and you're literally screaming what he's singing in his chest voice.

That's easy. I would have Otis Redding's voice, and I would sing "Try a Little Tenderness", and the panties would drop. By God would the panties drop.

Barry White would also make the panties drop.

another great pick - what makes Buble so amazing isn't his voice or range or repotoire (even though they're all amazing) it's his phrasing. He's a true musician. Listen to his songs and the ebb and flow, crescendo and decrescendo, forte and piano.... he's a stud.

I'll go with Stevie Ray Vaughn with Robert Cray right behind. Not the most extraordinary voices ... but I love hearing them belt it out...especially while playing some of the meanest guitar ever.

Justin Timberlake.

Apparently it's working out for him.

References:

Jessica Biel, Britney Spears (the good one), Scarlett Johanson.

Any other questions?

I'm assuming that the question you're really asking is what lead singer would you want to trade places with?

nope

voice, you can sing any songs you want

for example:

While obviously a good answer, Otis Redding does not equal Try a Little Tenderness, it is just his voice singing any song. If you think someone else would sing that better or w/e, just pick strictly on voice.
