I really dont see this staff breaking out a bottle of Cristal to celebrate anything. A case of Bud Light seems to fit better.

By the way, I don't see how that's bulletin board material. For starters, what does just the line, "Should we have a moment of silence" mean? They would have to put the context and the conversation leading up to it on the bulletin board as well. And that would remind the players that they lost to a 1AA team. On the other hand, that would require several lines and sentences, and I'm not sure that the General Studies majors on the team could handle that long of a reading assignment.

I also think that Hoyer saying that the team was going crazy is no big deal. I was in a bar jam packed with Hurricanes fans who were all on their feet screaming as if the Canes had just won the National title. It meant a little more to MSU and OSU fans, but everyone in the country had to love it. You can bet that that scene was repeated anywhere that there was a group of college football fans not affiliated with UM.
Everyone hates UM, even the local drunks in Butte, Montana we celebrating the App. St. win today, although they had to ask a couple times for people to remind them why they were celebrating.

This is one upset the country can embrace and celebrate in unison.

Oh, please!

Should Dantonio really be worried about board material to the wolvies if they're getting beat by a pee wee division team?

I think it's great. He is taking a page out of the Tressel book of strategy. Get in their heads, let them know you are not in awe or fear of them. Let them know you are targeting them like a missile and you intend to knock their heads off on the field. I always felt JLS believed u of m was in another league and MSU just didn't deserve to beat them. Just look at the losses, seemed like the players were outside of their comfort zone when they were winning they just gave the games away. Dantonio has been through this with Saban and Treseel and understands how to take these guys on. Certainly u of m will be a favorite against MSU, but I think u of m will be scared of what could happen once they take the field. u of m is like the big bully who you just punch in the mouth as hard as you can and sometimes they just don't want to fight. MSU may very well lose that game, but MSU will make it a game to remember (in a good way) in either case.

I think MD has been around enough he knows what he is doing. He has been praising UM ever since he has been here. the South Bend Tribune called it creepy.

Which they would say was in retaliation to an unclassy shot by .

Regardless, I like that there is some controversy developing.

Sorry. To me it just looks like the players getting down for team prayer after the game and some are making the "number 1" sign. Did the players say that's what they were doing?

BTW, I didn't really think the Dantonio quote was that unclassy. When I heard him say it I thought it was more of a "well what do you want me to say?" sort of thing.

Do you have the correct context? Spartans and opposing team players have been meeting in prayer on the field immediately after the games this season. I don't see any MSU players in your pic, but is something respectful going on here instead of what you are claiming?

The "number 1" signs are on their lips. That means quiet.

My gut feeling is this is unclassy. I base this upon what UM players said after the game at the press conf, and the history of this program and the current players on the team

I doubt they're praying. Look at scummer #8, he's yelling.

They've all got their fingers over their lips. That = shhhhhhhhh. You think it's a coincidence scummers are all shhhhhing at midfield?? NAIVE.

I can't believe some of you people don't believe MIKE HART would do something like this.

Again, look at #89!! Look at the guy to the right of #23!! Look at the fatass at the bottom of the pic!! That's Hart in the middle of the group!! C'mon people.

I totally believe he would do something like this. For as good of a football player he is he doesn't measure up as a person.
