I think that everyone would say that having some highly talented 4-5 year kids would be the best way to build a line (from HS or Prep School. I almost prefer a prep school kid), but in a situation like we're going to run into here with a lack of experienced depth...a JUCO lineman or two would not be a bad idea.

Better to be prepared.

He just wouldn't comment about the negative. But he did make it a point to comment about the good things Stoutland did with the offensive line.

I don't necessarily agree- I hope we always continue our practice of brining in a few talented JUCO players in every class. Some of our best have come from the JUCO ranks.

I know what the coaches and media say. It's called being informed rather than being a complete idiot that adds nothing to this thread. Congrats, keep up the horrible work.

how does a two-star get offers from Nebraska, MSU, West Virginia, etc and still be a two-star?

When Natron the Spartan and tanfan are the recuiting guru's who work for rivals and assign the stars to the individual players. That's why Natron the Spartan knows how poor the talent level of the backups at MSU are.

Because he didn't commit to Michigan which would have meant an immediate bump to 5 star status.

Give me a ****ing break. You come out with an opinion about the matchups every week and you get lamb-basted for some of the stupid **** you say. I've always complimented you and appreciated your opinion. Now you come out with this ****? Pathetic.

As for the stars, the offers are truly odd, but in the same vein, when someone gets an offer from some schools (UofM etc.) we hear a lot of bitching about an automatic bump and how unfair it is. In the end, the stars are only for our viewing pleasure and they don't matter much.
