Some of the graphics in that demo are unreal. Let's hope they didn't mess too much with the playability.
I still play COD2 all the time as the same user name I have here. Mostly on FKR, BIA and POTW servers.
Say if you see me.

played the demo for just a few minutes just now and it's pretty cool. although the optimal settings wanted me to play at a resolution of just 640 X 480 i knew that couldn't be right so i bumped it up to 1024x768 and it was fine. still it might be time to replace my two year old video card.

I love Call Of Duty 3, and I am definitely looking forward to this game. I like the Call Of Duty series much more than the Halo series.

WWII games have been done to death. I'd like another good Nam game (Men of Valor was great but they refuse to update it for the 360).

The period isn't what I like about the game, it's the gameplay. I like that you can choose your weapon without having to race around a map and find it. I think it levels the playing field, because everyone can snipe, or everyone can use the Thompson, or whatever. I also like that people die faster. I hate in Halo when you can get the drop on someone and they can still kill you because they have the better weapon even though you hit them more and were more accurate.

I picked it up on Wednesday, but haven't had a chance to play yet. People are raving about it.

COD single-player mode is more entertaining than Halo 3's so far. But Halo 3 multiplayer is pretty hard to shake. And I keep pressing "B" to try and melee people in COD4.

for anyone that plays this on pc, is there a voice chat feature in the multi-player online mode? do you need to have one of those stupid headsets with a mic to anable it? i really want to berate some little kids while i'm shooting them in the face.
