this and super mario are the games of the year. The end of COD 4 is more dramatic than most movies.

I just got the game at Best Buy on sale for $40 out the door. Problem is Sams Club is sold out of 360's here and I want to buy it from them for their return policy.

Just installed this on my new computer. I maxed out all the settings, resolution of 1360 x 768 (max for my 42" LCD).

Insane. I thought UT3 had good graphics (and it does, amazing ones), but honest to God, there were times that aside from looking at what was in front of me through a (huge) black box, I would swear it was real. The opening scene for the S.A.S. is just insane.

Great game.

I got COD4 for my brother for his x360 and was up playing it on his 56"HDTV. absolutely amazing. I don't have an 360 yet, but this game seems to be worth buying the system. I think it has better graphics than Halo3, IMHO. Thinking about getting one from Costco for the same reason - return policy.

I just got a 360 and am playing COD4. Question since I am still learning the controls. How and what button do you push to throw back a grenade that is thrown near you? I think it says R3. What button is that?

The major downfall of this game for me and my friends is the poor system link capabilities. We played tons of CoD3 system link, but CoD4 doesn't support multiple players per system in system link. Major bummer, because the local split-screen is tons of fun.

What console are you playing on, and how did you get this map? Was it a Christmas day only thing, downloadable content, or what? Looks cool though

Regular X-Box would take a poop trying to run those graphics.

So, no.

So I finally got a 360 and COD4 yesterday. Hooked it up and played through the training and first mission. All I know is that it's going to take A LOT getting used to aiming with a console controller after using a keyboard and mouse on a PC for years.

Any suggestions?

I used to. Getting sick of playing the "upgrade the video card every 2 years" game. I can still play most RTS games though which is what I mostly play on the PC.

I'm hearing all sorts of great things about it, I just think it'll take me a while to get used to the aiming scheme.

Trevor....it will take time, like a day or two of gaming action.

I've been playing PS2 for years and just switched to the XBox360. I was impressed with how quickly I was able to get used to the new Xbox360 controller.

BTW - what made you pull the trigger on the XBox?
