Michigan: Meet Stephen Schilling and Carson Butler. They’re the reason why the cupboard isn’t bare for Rich Rodriguez. Carson Butler is the next Bennie Joppru. And Stephen Schilling is…a right tackle, I can’t do this. The Wolverines are in danger of a 5-7 season. And if you’re a hater? It’s beautiful.
Wrong.. its A Perfect Circle... song name escapes me right now....

I woke up that morning with a strange premonition that the game wouldn't go as planned for OSU. We had plans to meet at Crunchy's to, as my friend put it, "watch our football team get beaten by OSU for 3 quarters, then we'll walk to Munn for the hockey game."
Everyone wrote MSU off that day, but at halftime, we were an unranked team that was only down by 5 to the #1 team in the country. "Have faith," I said, "we're not blown out, and there's still 30 minutes."

I remember thinking that as well. OSU walked off that field at half like the game was already wrapped up, but the thing was that was the smallest halftime lead they had all season. So I was confident.
Then of course Burke opens the 2nd half w/ that pick returned for a TD, and I'm like thinking, "well that was fun while it lasted."

My wife's boss went to that game and gave us his Hockey tickets. I think we missed the opening face-off as we were still in the car listening to the football game. Once inside Munn, there were updates on the scoreboard. When it finally showed MSU ball with less than a minute left, the place went nuts.
