Based on this game, we can win out.

Iowa sucks, even at home.

Purdue is a possible win, they got creamed by OSU in West Lafayette.

The Michigan game is in East Lansing.

Penn State is brutal on the road, barely could beat IU.

I think we have a good shot at all these games. I don't see any of these games as unwinable.

Was I watching a different game?

Based on THIS game we don't score another O TD the rest of the year...

I agree its possible. If MD goes 9-3 his first year that would be huge towards turning things around. I'm starting to think that its next year not this one that will be the true test. Even JLS went 8-4 his first year. I want to see us continue to win 8+games a year.

Possible, not probable. I dont see any for sure losses in there but I think there will be some. I can see this team winning a couple more minimum. 3 would be amazing and 4 would get MD COY in B10. Not gonna happen though.

Check out OSUs defensive statistics and then feel free to edit your post.

There are no remaining teams on our schedule that are even remotely as good defensively as tOSU. This was definitely our toughest game.

Iowa is weak, Penn State and Purdue are winnable, and our motivation alone will even us up with Michigan.

I think we should at least win two...it's within the realm of possibility to win all four.

It looks like Michigan is going to be our toughest game and I think playing OSU so closely IN Columbus makes playing UM in EL look much better.

The rest of the teams we play aren't that great. PSU is at home. Iowa sucks.

I think we CAN win out, I didn't say we would. I think we get 2 more victories, PSU and Iowa.

there is a chasm between unwinable games and "win out"

We can, but we won't.

I see us going 2-2 down the stretch, maybe 3-1 with some lucky bounces.

1-3, 2-2 if we get a break.. that NW loss really hurts

No way we win out. Here's why:

Our cornerbacks are terrible. And we just lost Rucker. Purdue will embarrass us despite the fact they aren't that good. We might be Iowa at Iowa, but it's always tough to win there. Michigan is good now. Penn State should be a win, but they are still tough. We should make a bowl game, but winning out is highly improbable.

MSU looked like **** today guys. Apart from those 2 fairly lucky defensive TDs we looked like a steaming pile of dog****.

The 2 TDs weren't lucky, they were the result of being in the right place at the right time and playing opportunistic D.

That being said, it was really more like a 17 point win than a 7 point win for tOSU--but still a decent showing for us.
