What's the scariest,nastiest movie you've ever seen?
for me...
scariest is " The Exorcist ". I would never ever watch that movie again..even if someone gave me a $100 to watch it. No way!!!

The Exorsist. I will never watch that movie again. The Changeling (1980) would be #2.

The original Texas Chainsaw Massacre was pretty intense. Blair Witch Project got to me, but that's because I had an old abandoned farmhouse in an empty, giant woods/field behind my house growing up, that looked exactly like the one in the final scene (basement included).
Eraserhead is also...interesting. I've heard "The Thing" is pretty creepy, but I haven't watched it before (going to next weekend, just waiting for some free time).

The Shining gives me chills every time I watch it.
The scene where the kid is riding his Big Wheel......carpet, wood, carpet, wood, carpet, turns the corner and that camera move down the hall to the twins....eww.

I was pretty blown out the only time I've seen it, but I remember one of the characters eating dog ****.

The Exorcist just doesn't bother me. I watched the original "The Changeling" last weekend. It was sort of creepy, but I don't know if it was one of the scariest movies ever.

not really all too scary, but my favorite horror flicks are the original Wicker Man and The Hills Have Eyes. I really haven't seen a well made horror movie that has a timeless effect made in the past couple decades

Hostel was f'ed up. The scene where the one guy tries to stand up from the chair, but his achilles tendon was severed.... ... it made my skin crawl.

Ooh...that movie was creepy. I watched it several times when I was a kid, but haven't seen it since then.
I can't recall a movie that scared me enough not to watch it again...I always liked scary movies.
There was one movie I remember from a slumber party in junior high though...just can't think of the name. The movie was nasty though - all I recall was that there was a mom and her 2 sons who were criminals. They kidnapped a girl (I think?) - she got raped while they took Polaroids (called it "the Kodak game" ), forced to drink Drano, etc. Can't recall the name, but it was very disturbing...especially since I was maybe 13ish when I saw it.
(Obviously the girl who had the slumber party had very lax parents...my parents would have flipped if they found out that we ended up seeing that movie at that age. Hell, if I told my mom about that now, she'd probably still be pissed and that was 20 years ago. )

I was so pissed when I saw this movie. The first hour of it was absolutely FANTASTIC. Then they ****ed it up and turned it into a slasher flick. Morons.
I kinda thought the same way about Hostel. Not quite as good first half, but equally as ****ty ending.

Scariest for me was "Audition", a Japanese film. The first half is so slow I almost stopped watching, but the end was the nastiest thing ever. When she cut off the dudes legs and tried to cut his tongue out I all most Ralphed

The Thing! That movie was great. The Exorcist is definitely one of the few movies that I actually think is scary. There aren't enough of them.
The last twenty minutes or so of the Blair Witch Project were really scary to me, but everyone seems to think it's retarded. I thought the rest of the movie was pretty stupid, but the end had me freaking out when they're wandering around that house.

I thought "The Thing" was a good movie and pretty creepy. If it was done right I think it would be great if it was remade.
