Nope, House is on and I've seen these CNN specials about the planet in the past and none of them live up to the hype.

Yeah, or he could just be older than you and know that he's going to kick the bucket before global warming makes a difference to him, so he doesn't give a flying ****.

If CNN was around at the time of the ice age, they would be saying, "Planet in Peril, the ice age is upon us"...then the day that the temps started going up after the peak of the ice age, CNN would be saying, "Planet in Peril, Global Warming is going to kill us"...

Whatever...this is a natural cycle that all objective evidence points to. Most of the scientists look back millions of years when formulating their "hypothesis" while the global warming dogmatists only look back 20 years and choose to be myopic about this.

I love it when people get all irrational and emotional about something religiously dogmatic like this gogreen cat is. Hilarious. The guy has no irrefutable evidence to stand upon...therefore he applies his faith to it. Just like a Christian who stands by his belief that Christ is divine.

This chart tells me that obviously co2 has no bearing on temps because temps are stagnant as co2 goes up...

Have you seen this chart by NASA? It is obviously a more scientific organization than Architecture 2030 is :

This chart gives better perspective on this subject. It tells us that global warming is natural just as global cooling is. Temps were very much higher 100,000 years ago.

Nice try...I am not buying into your religion. Please keep your Jehovah witness type propaganda to yourself. You "global warming is man made" people need to take a step back and realize that most scientists who don't espouse zealotist beliefs to infiltrate their science disagree with the notion that global warming is man made...they understand the natural cycle.

Since you mentioned NASA as a source, you should know that Dr. James Hansen, the head of NASA's Goddard Institute for Space Studies, is one of the most outspoken scientists in the world on the dangers of global warming and climate change. Here is a link to the Goddard website so you can read what NASA actually has to say on the topic of global wrming. Pretty sobering stuff.

I think the thought that global warming is entirely man made is as equally wrong as saying that man has no effect on the enviroment or climate change.

What I don't get

Personally, I can't understand how you think the planet will be fine as we continue to overuse and overconsume products, and make longer and longer daily commutes every year.

Most of the time, people will crumble- there is no significant data. We haven't been around long enough. There is enough time for data to be adequately compiled. I will believe when there is more than 10 or 50 years of data.

What if we wait. for 100 or 1000 or 10000 years. However long it takes.
Then- what if your wrong, and global warming is a reality.
That would mean we let 100/1000/10000 years of pollution happen to satisfy YOUR need for more empirical evidence.

What's the alternative,
we cut down our dependency on fossil fuels, and take steps that have been suggested by an entire multitude of scientists, and scientific organizations, and continue to collect more scientific data.
What is the harm then.
We have cleaner air and water.
The major manufacturer's take a economic hit in trying to comply with updated National Ambient Air Quality Standards, which is usually mitigated by the cap and trade system.
We have cars that are ridiculously fuel efficient- we cut down our foreign dependency on oil. Pretty much the oil companies take a hit.We are no longer at war in IRAQ, we could provide humane support to developing countries, rather than exploiting them.
We don't have to cut mountaintops off to harvest them for coal.

the point is its not a damned if we do damned if we don't -
I think its more of a damned if we don't and better off if we do.
