Your angry that small schools had interest? Well, I guess CMU tried to get RoJo. So yeah, Rojo was terrible.

He's is rated the #15 player in Ohio By Duane Long's Future stars (i think the web site i saw this on was JJHuddle's Ohio High - Ohio High School Sports Stuff) . . . and is a temmate of LB Rippy who had previously commited to NE

Matt Dorsey is reporting on spartan mag that Jonas Gray had BIG TIME problems trying to avoid Jamir during summer camp and he (JG) was complaining of the verbal challenges and taunts that Miller was throwing his way

u r right tan fan this kid has no hope .

hmm do u think it matters that his coach was slow in getting film out on him this fall and that he camped at msu this summer? also, right after getting film of him Lousiville and USF turned up the heat in contacting him and he let it be known that if MSU offered him on Thursday or Friday he was going to commit asap

if you wait for other schools to offer kids (especially when they are late in getting senior year film out) u run the very real risk of being left on the side of the road watching your comeptition pass you by plucking up recruits

think of JLS and his track record in recruiting high school DL during his tenure here

It's also been reported that Williams had a pretty severe lower-leg injury his junior year (I think), thus affecting his junior film. As was already stated, once his senior film started making the rounds, other big-time schools turned up their interest. That plus local Ohio guys rating him much, much more highly than Rivals makes me a little more excited in Williams as a prospect.

Dead on brother. Some friends saw him play and were impressed with his "game speed." Very hard hitter.

I think it was last week when this kid was matched up against Zebrie Sanders a 4**** and completely dominated the match up. (per the bunker) So while he is a 2** now I've read this week that the kid has a high motor and is very aggressive and yes they were talking on the rivals how Jonas Gray had some real trouble getting away from Williams.

Solid pick up imo. Its so different seeing a recruiting class be 1 WR, 1 RB and then ALL oline or Defensive players.

A past MSU linebacker (speculating it was Josh Thornhill) who was at camp this summer said he was the best player at camp and shut down Jonas Gray during 1-1 drills. Sounds good to me!

I always liked Josh. He was a good player and a great guy. Lets hope he was right and Jamhiir can become dominant.

Is their a website like this that has a thread for players from MI? I like how they just keep compiling onfo on kids at that site, all in one thread.

I know you're being sarcatic, just wanted to point out that on scoutingoh.com duane Long (ohio prep guru) has him as the 10th best player in Ohio, however on buckeyeplanet.com he later revised his rankings and he's now 15th (still pretty damn good) scoutingoh.com and buckeyeplanet.com have him as a 4 star, scout list him as a 3 star and #31 WLB. There’s some film up on him at scoutingoh.com and I think this kids pretty damn good. Also they say he lit up every combine he attended.

Greg Jones offer list was basically **** too, (best offers where Minny&Cinnci) getting injured as a junior ntm changing schools 2 times can absolutely kill your recruiting stock, this kids solid

per scoutingoh.com:

10. ***** Jamiihr Williams 6-2 1/2 230 LB Trotwood-Madison
Scouting Ohio Jamiihr Williams Trotwood Maidson Video

Williams is just now starting to be a name that fans are familiar with. In Ohio the recruiting trail is what is know as the “3-C highway”, Cleveland to Columbus to Cincinnati. Williams was at Lima. That is off the beaten path. He has been a standout on the combine circuit. His tapes did not appear until after his sophomore year. He is just as impressive on the football field as he is in drills. As a sophomore he registered double digit sacks as a stand-up defensive end then moved to a true linebacker spot as a junior. He was on his way to a 150 tackle year when a high ankle sprain took about half his junior year away. He went to the national junior combine after the injury healed and picked up where he left off. He will be with Maurice Douglas outstanding Trotwood Madison program this fall. He is outstanding at the line of scrimmage but size might dictate that he stay at linebacker. He has all the tools to make the transition as his performance before the injury forced him to the sidelines. Williams has showed that he has the crucial ability to find the ball and the burst to do something about it once he finds it. He has the top end speed to get to the ball carrier anywhere on the field and the motor to stay in every play until the whistle blows. Ohio State, Michigan, Florida State, Michigan State, Iowa and West Virginia are all showing early interest. Williams went to two Michigan games last fall. Has Ohio State, Michigan and Florida State at the top of his list. He is already fully qualified. I think he is a strong side linebacker but he could easily grow into a middle linebacker.

So he and Rippy are in the same LB corps? Wow.

Is Rippy wavering at all on his commitment to NU?
