Yup - TC West are the Titans and they are 3-4 overall and 1-2 in the Big north.

The Trojans (TC Central) are 2-4 overall and 1-2 in the Big north.

Tough year for the TC teams (except for St. Francis - 7-0!.. but they're Lake Michigan Conference I believe and Class C) - Petoskey is looking extremely solid though

Summerfield Bulldogs now 7-0 after beating our rivals last night. This is only the second time in school history that we are going to the playoffs. Last week, we were ranked 8th in Division 7. Can we bust into the top 5 this week? Woooooohoooooooo!!!

The Ubly Bearcats moved to 8-0 with a 56-36 win over Deckerville. That was the 22nd consecutive regular season win for the Bearcats. Ubly has a good chance to make it back to Ford Field this season, possibly in Division 8. Last season they got smoked by Traverse City St. Francis 41-13 in the Division 7 championship game.

Damn. Although it seems the GTC is really weak this year.

Ubly is the class of the GTC, but there are several decent teams in that conference. Reese, Elkton-Pigeon-Bay Port, Vassar, Sandusky, Brown City, and possibly Deckerville have playoff aspirations this season. However, Ubly is heads and shoulders above any of those teams. Their offensive and defensive lines are loaded.

It's 8-0 with 5 shutouts. Lost a key player (for potentially the season) though last night.

Yes they did. But they have 3 other kids who can fill his position. John Jakubic, the buzz from the kids on the team is torn MCL and torn ACL. I won't believe anything until a MRI.

Between Savakus, Herzog, Palazeti, Capatina, and maybe even D'Agostino (maybe even Messner who busted one for 75 yards and a TD last night) they should be OK with ball carriers.

I think they'll miss Jakubik on Defense though.

Edit to add:

They'll miss him more in the gym for basketball season.

Don't forget Nelson too. They have enough people to patch up that hole. He will be missed.

Need to get Niko back on the field, keep Darany and Sherman healthy. Game breakers of unusual size and strength.

After that, it's all somewhat interchangeable parts. They really have very few "full time starters" as much as they have rotations of multiple players at alot of positions.

However, I really like Kinville, Herzog, Savakus, and Jakubik as steady disciplined players.

In Division 7, Ubly defeated Rochester Hills Lutheran Northwest 52-0. Ubly racked up 541 yards of offense, including 494 on the ground. Ubly held the Crusaders to 39 yards of offense and only 2 first downs the entire evening.

I left the CC game when they were up 28-7. Franklin took a 7-0 lead with a 99 yard fumble recovery TD. CC won the game though 42-7.
