Hoops My co-worker won't shut up about how much better Grady is than Lucas

If anyone has something objective to fire back at him, let me know. These are their stats thus far and they're NOT helping me here:

Who cares if that's even true right now?

Lucas is playing a role. He's obviously a ****ing great player anyway. You just have to watch them both.

I think that's like saying the University of Hawaii is better than the Indianapolis Colts because Hawaii is undefeated and the Colts have two losses.

Well, they have similar stats. Grady is asked (and needed) to do much more, yet he doesn't. If he can't get time on that UM squad, just where could he go and get PT/make a real contribution.

How you can talk to that guy without laughing is beyond me.

Did you tell him Kalin Lucas is fast? Or point out to him that closest Grady will get to the NCAA tourney is watching it with some heifer SCum coed on his arm at some snobby AA frat house?

Here is a thought: Just watch them play, it's not even close. Typical SCum fan, won't conceed even the most obvioius points, just keep argueing to argue. Anyone who thinks Grady belongs in the same sentence as Lucas knows nothing about basketball and is an idiot.

I honestly would want to punch his ignorent face. But thats just me.

Great, our back up point guard. Vs their starting point guard.

Why don't you just say, Lucas is at MSU and will probably playing in the Final Four at least once in his four-year career. Grady will be hoping for an NIT berth his entire career.

you could point out that Grady was a non-factor in high school in Grand Rapids (no media attention no buzz)
you could point out that this Grady is only the 2nd most overrated Grady to play for the yellow Ms
or you could ask about Grady's father getting East Grand Rapids High School put on probation for helping players from Grand Rapids illegally attend EGR (which continues the amazing similarities between EGR and M)

our you could simply point out that if Lucas played on a sucky team, he too would jack up a lot of shots and put up decent numbers, whereas on our team Grady would be getting less minutes than Dahlman but maybe more than Kebler

Make a $100 bet on who makes it to the NBA:
  • If just Grady goes he wins, if just Lucas goes you win.
  • If both go, the higher draft pick gets the $
  • If neigher goes its a draw
I guarantee this doosh is just trying to get you pissed off and doesnt honestly believe it. If he is that dumb then this will be the easiest $100 you ever made.

So I mentioned that KL plays for a top 10 team and likely FF participant while Grady plays for the worst BCS conference team in the country, and he replies:

Quote:
That's my point .

How could the stats be so close?

It would be something to see Grady play with all that talent.

Ask him why Izzo (or any other major program) didn't recruit Grady. Not even for one day.

Should I send him the link to this thread? I'm trying to get him to register and I mentioned all the fans of other schools on here. tRCMB could really use a testimonial section.
