i'm not sure where these so-called reports are coming from.. my patio's right on water's edge.. i have been outside the entire time, i haven't seen riot gear and the police have been totally cool, unless you're acting like a drunk ass. also i think the students are behaving pretty well for the time being as well.

I eont be the first to wear gas masks during the riots...I saw pictures from the big one with people wearing them throwing canisters of gas back at the police. I plan on being close enough to the action for constant updates...I just hope the gas dosnt f up the blackberry.

F*** the ELPD and F*** East Lansing. If anything happens, its ALL on them. They are the ones who started all this riot talk. They are the ones who tell people that it is going to be a riot. They are the ones who are putting people in an Us vs Them mentality when they send pigs out there in riot gear looking threatening.
People don't say, "Hey, we should riot. Lets set a date a couple months down the road for this. How about April 5th?"
**** better not get ugly. I was hoping this would go well. I'd love to be able to organize a block party (with the city's approval and their closing of the streets so that they would not be sending in the troops or if they did send cops it would be cooperative where there are just a couple IN CASE something happens thats unsafe for everyone) but if things go bad tonight that idea can go out the window.

Some chick with nice  showing them to the crowd....Hopefully for her the cops didnt get it on tape as they will hunt her down...Im trying to hunt her down as they were some real sweet that I want to play with or at least offer up a place to hide out when the gas starts.

Wish I could be there right now just to see what there is to see. On the other hand, I'm pretty good when it comes to talking to the pigs, but I don't know how well I hold up under gas and voltage which I'd bet is what talking to the pigs consists of tonight when these pent up middle age bullies just can't contain themselves anymore.
