She never "went" to MSU.
I have heard she took a couple of online courses, but never went to school in EL, nor graduated from State.

Like it was said earlier, I think he wore a sweatshirt for literally every college/university in Michigan. I watched an episode the other night and he had a Northern Michigan sweatshirt.
He also got a degree in one episode from WMU (where he actually got kicked out of in real life) and part of it is supposed to be filmed there.

I wish that stuff was up on youtube. I remember one of the "goth talk" skits where at the end of their show, all these fratguys run in screaming "Yeah! MSU won! MSU! MSU!" and start ****ing with the goths.
"The Spartans are not that goth!"
I nearly **** my pants with laughter.

I just read Tom Sizemore's bio....he went to Wayne State and then got a masters from Temple, and never went to MSU.
Angelina Jolie and Christina Aguilera took online classes from MSU, so they didn't "go" to MSU but were MSU students.

It must be very weird for a prof to have Angelina Jolie registered as one of your students, and you never set eyes on her in person.

I generally dislike the Flint and Dearborn folks more. They have the same arrogant, elitist attitude as our friends in Ann Arbor but possess nothing to back that attitude up. As much as I dislike the real scUM, it is not an easy school to get into. The Flint and Dearborn satellites are like community colleges. Some of the dumbest people I knew in high school went to UMD, and one even bashed me for going to MSU at my high school reunion. This same guy never graduated from UMD and at 28 still lives in his parents basement.
The Flint/Dearborn schools have always struck me as being the bastions of the Walmart Wolverine. In short, they are a bunch of posers and fakes.

I completed Accounting 202 at UM Flint one summer while in school at State. That school was way easier than comparable classes in 201 and 391 at MSU.

My father was one of those thousands of voices recorded.
And the previous post, about guessing MSU's enrollment of 7500 in 1960? That's crazy. More like 20,000 to 35,000.

I sold Tim Allen a box of envelopes and office supplies in high school about a month before "Home Improvement" aired. I think I was the only one in the store who didn't know who he was at the time (from his stand up comedy), which may be why he picked me to help him.

The total enrollment for Fall 1960 on the East Lansing campus was 21,157.

In "Candy goes to Hollywood", Carol Conners (aka, Thora Birch's mom), is introduced as a contestant on "the Dong Show" as "a little lady from Michigan State University"....
This movie was produced by Gail Palmer, a 1970's porn producer who allegedly attended MSU, and often put MSU references in her films...(just like Sam Raimi having the girl in Evil Dead wear an MSU shirt..... yeah, just like that ....)

I heard him explain once why he wears a State hat. He said he went to UM-Flint and he hated the way cocky UM people would always say "well that's not the real UM." He liked State people better because they lacked the arrogance of UM students...

"Indian Summer" - they show an old NCAA championship boxing trophy, and it says some guy's name and Michigan State.
"King Ralph" - I think there's an MSU game on in the background, possibly involving Blake Ezor. I'm not positive on that one.
